Life is like Final Fantasy VIII: It sucks, but then I end up buying it for ten bucks on PSN anyway because I'm stupid like that.
Wait, maybe I'm not talking about life anymore... Let me try again.
Life is like Final Fantasy VI: During the early part of your life, things can be tough and you don't have a huge amount of freedom, but you meet some good friends, generally know what you're supposed to do, and have fun. Then you become an adult and go into the "real world," where everything's different, you have no idea where your friends are, you don't know where to go, and things become less fun.
(And this doesn't completely flow with my previous comparison, since obviously FFVI gives you more freedom than FFXIII does, but, uh, just go with it, okay?)

Don't forget that success in the "adult" part comes down to learning a single skill and using it over and over again.

Life is like heavy rain. Once you solve the case, the tanks come after you even when ARI is turned off.

Life is like Fire Emblem: it is hard and the odds are always stacked against you, but if you know how to properly sacrifice your friends you can still win.

This one was probably my favorite one that I've seen, it made me laugh XD lol
Life is like Uncharted 2. No matter what comes at you, shooting at it is always the correct answer. And climbing. Climbing to.

Life is like Legend of Zelda: An epic adventure made up of interesting puzzles the experienced dread and challenges that seem so new though everyone's done them before.

You should play Wind Waker. Or LttP. Or the original Zelda, in which you'll be clamoring for rupees once you learn what you can buy with them.
Life is like the classic Zelda games, in that you don't actually have to do the levels in the order you're supposed to.

you sacrifice your units??? I never let any of them die, it's great at just past mid game cause then you have a super tank team that is unstoppable (Erk, Hector, Harken just to name three)
I liked the if you die, you are dead one!
Life is like Okami, you can at any point decide to draw.

Life is like heavy rain. People observing you think you're not doing anything, but if you actually do nothing things get a lot crappier than they already are and the bad guy wins.

I have a feeling kids are like the video game "Civilization" They're fun at the start, when you can try to turn them into anything you want, but they become harder to manage later on and it's harder to protect them from all the other nations that want to invade and then they develop their own congress and don't listen to you...

Awsome! XD
Life is like CoD Black Ops. Sometimes it's better just to sit tight for a few seconds rather than run around haphazardly. And sometimes it doesn't make a difference. XP

I'm sorry, but I must disagree with all of you
Life is truely like The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. And here's why:
You can do whatever you want to do. However, there is a law in the world, and if you disobay it, you are arested. You can resist this arest, but the law always wins, and you get in more trouble.
And if you die, you do not get an extra life.

And there is way more stuff to do than you can get to.

Life is like Golden Sun. If you don't light lighthouses, people die.
Life is like WarioWare... lots of random games that don't make much sense until you've played them before.
