Depending on what you want it to be, I might be able to give a hand with plot. Do you have any Ideas of what theme/genre/style you want the plot to be?

a basic idea for the plot.

Postby spectro-king » Mon Dec 12, 2005 4:39 pm

beginning:

an evil santa (that lives at the south pole.)see's that it will be a white christmas. the only one in years. so, to ruin everyone's fun and joy, he goes out to melt all the snow with his fire balls(shooting from his hand).

a man with the power of ice sets out to save christmas.

end: the evil santa has like 5,000 troops surounding the christmas warriors,(that are all out of power), along with a surrounding circle of flames. this ice guy defends against the fireballs. while the other guys pray.

jesus comes down, wipes out the bad guys, and restores the white christmas to it's perfect state.

This sounds like an interesting premise.

a man with the power of ice sets out to save christmas.

Should this man have any motivation for doing this? What is his character like?

end: the evil santa has like 5,000 troops surounding the christmas warriors,(that are all out of power), along with a surrounding circle of flames. this ice guy defends against the fireballs.

Could be problamatic to animate, and is somewhat cliche. Perhaps a one on one ore two on two duel?

while the other guys pray.
jesus comes down, wipes out the bad guys, and restores the white christmas to it's perfect state.

This bit bothers me. It is mixing Jesus, the true reason for the season with very secular ideas, Santa and a White Christmas. It also portrays Jesus as some type of super hero who comes down to earth and blasts the bad guys. This is not the type of mesage I think should be portrayed. I think bringing Jesus into the picture here in this way is a downright bad idea, and that a new ending should be looked for.

Also, is this a comedy or a drama? If it is a comedy, I think that spoofing different elements of secular christmas themes could be effective. If it is meant to be serious, I think that this idea is somewhat lacking in serious content and needs to go back to the drawing board.

a christmas special. if you look above.... you will see a main outline of what we were thinking. you can choose to make it better, or start a new one completely. if you decide to do that though, you may want to contact some other plotters.

Given that there is only a little over a week till christmas, I think that getting it done by then is a bit of an unrealistic goal... Possibly...

I already kinda thought that. Maybe you could start work on something for Valentine's Day though hmm...?
