You will be in our prayers. If you find that there's no consistency in what you are feeling, that's normal. Over time things change for a variety of reasons. The fact that you are able to recognize it bodes well for your future. :thumb:

I've been having a difficult time trying to forgive someone that's done something literally unforgivable to me and it's really conflicting with my spiritual life because all I ever seen to hear about is forgiveness and how if Jesus can forgive the murderer next to Him on the cross I should be able to forgive this person. That just seems so wrong to me and I can't really fathom nor make sense of coming towards forgiveness for this person. I don't know. It's just really complicated. As always prayer would be wonderful.

I understand what you're going through. I've dealt with the same thing toward someone I thought I could trust. One thing I've learned is that forgiveness is more than an act, it's an attitude. Another thing I've learned along those lines is that we as Believers are to continue to forgive the person or persons who have wronged us, even (and especially) if they never repent and ask us for it. It's not something easy to do, but not letting go of the hurt and anger hurts us far more than what damage the offender did to us.

What K-chan said. I know it can be really, really hard to forgive certain things, even seemingly impossible. But in the long run, it will hurt you so much more. Bitterness is a very real danger that can deeply damage your life.
That said, I'll definitely be praying for you.

Thank you K. Ayato and ClaecElric4God. You're both right. It's just this constant battle within me that's impacting my life. I'm angry and hurt. Logically, I agree with what you are both saying. It's sound, good sense but than the illogical side of myself just feels betrayed by my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as well as God because I'm not Jesus I cannot forgive like He does and I just feel like I've been building up the scars by shutting everyone out. I know I've said this a lot but it's just complicated or maybe I just cannot let go because it's become a part of me. :/

I know what you mean, yuko, and I'm the same way. Forgiving is easier said than done. I struggled a lot with that this past year myself.
*hugs* I'm praying for you.

I know I haven't been on here in a while, but we are all brethren in Christ. I have a sin that's not easy to admit online, much less so in person.
I've struggled with pornographic material for most of my life, since, like I was six or seven. In recent years, it's gotten worse. It's a huge challenge to go more than two days without visiting those websites. Most days, I give in more than once.
I'm too ashamed to tell my mom. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done to tell my best friend in a text.
I come to you, my brethren, in all humility and ask that you forgive me and pray for me.

Thank you so much,
The Chronicler
Thank You, Jesus, for everything You've given me.

I'll definitely be praying for you, Chronicler. I understand how you feel, but I would desperately pray about having the courage to tell your mom. It would help you.
But like I said, I'll keep you in prayer.

I guess this belongs here, this past weekend I was on a school trip and kept staring at this one girl, needless to say that really upset her and now she is scared and umcomfortable around me. I truly want to fix things but now i'm sick and i don't know if its real or psychosomatic. But everyone in my high school wants to hurt me now and I am so furious at myself because she is a good friend andni messed up our friendship forever I think

Thanks for your prayers panda, well i haven' apologized simply because i haven't seen her since i found out what she was upset about and didn't think a text would be appropriate. But people seem to think this whole hing has gotten blown out of proportion because we were both sleep deprived and high strung. And seeiously, you put two teen girls and and a teen guy in one suite and don't expect something to go wrong. Things look like they are getting better

I'll be praying, L. I can see how easily the girl could be upset and unnerved, even though it wasn't intentional. So like Panda said, the best thing would probably be to not only apologize, but try to explain and sort things out with her, once you get the chance. And if she's avoiding you, maybe try to find a go-between (does she have any female friends you could talk to?) to explain things to who can convince her to hear you out. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think if it was me in her situation, you saying what you just said to us, that you're worried that you messed up your friendship forever, would go a long ways to helping her to understand that you really didn't mean to upset her. Of course, I've never been accused of being the typical girl, so I could be completely wrong. :P You can ignore me if I'm not making any sense.
But yeah, that sounds like a tough situation. I'll be praying for both of you.

Also, putting a guy and girls in the same suite? That's something I would complain about to somebody important and try to prevent from happening again.

Feeling lost, not in the sense of faith at the moment but in life. I'm in need of purpose or rather the purpose of to go on living. Prayer as always would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

I need prayer, I'd like to talk to someone about it that is trustworthy if anyone is up for it, but I feel uncomfortable writing about it for everyone. I would like prayer for my relationship and maturing. Thanks :)

Hey again Mature Thread Request folks,

I know I could post a new thread but I figure in case I want to divulge into details I'd rather it be in the right place. So, recently I've been trying to move from the past and have spent 2 years since trying therapy in order to heal. Unfortunately, I went through a slew of therapists who told me "they had expertise" when really they had no experience at all in what I needed to heal from. Now, it's Sunday and I've emailed more therapists and scoured the internet trying to find someone that can help me quit from looking backward but to rather move forward. I'm tired of hearing from family and friends to "just move on" because it's been 2 years. If it were that easy to deal with my trauma I would have moved forward by now. Please, I ask anyone who is willing to pray that I find the right therapist that can deal with trauma and help me to move on.
