People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

The terrifying moldy bread incident! In elementary school, Yomi's leftover bread started rotting inside her desk! you can't imagine what happened! Not only that, but the mold had a will of its own, it was terrible! Barricading ourselves in the science prep room, we used spirit lamps and engaged in combat! Then I realized it!! If we only had the bottle of mildew remover from the bathroom, we could destroy them!!

Hmmmm... I'll see if I can put my collection in alphabetcal order!

Adolf - Volumes 1-3. (I need to read the remaining 2!)

Azumanga Daioh! Volume 1 (in Japanese)

Blade of the Immortal - Volumes in mixed order. I have 6 books, one unread because it was a sequel I got cheap but haven't gotten the first part to it yet... I do have Volume 1, but then, I have 3, 5, 7... just.. not in order, sadly. It's still great to read out of order, but I want to get the volumes missing from my collection so I can have an ordered collection.

Cardcaptor Sakura: Master of the Clow - Volume 1 (still half unread)

Dragon Knights - Volume 1. (I didn't like it enough to buy any more).

Hellsing - Volume 1.

InuYasha - Volume 1.

Jing: King of Bandits - Volume 1. (I liked this, and want to get more Jing, though I've yet to see the anime).

Petshop of Horrors - Volumes 1-4. (This is a rare manga to which I can DEFINITELY say that I prefer it to the anime. I really love it).

Phoenix - Volumes 1-2 ("Dawn" and "A Tale of the Future") Deep stuff, man.

Pokemon (My first manga!) Anime-based manga, issues 1-4, then graphic novels 2 and 3.

and, lastly,

Trigun - Volumes 1-2 (in English)

Trigun Maximum - Volume 3 (in Japanese).

Hmmm.. I actualy have quite a bit of manga. Surprises me.

That's probably how it got lost. You know, you always put your most special manga in a special place, and quite commonly that place is so special that you never stumble on it again. Erego, the lost manga mystery is solved! Dang, me and Nancy Drew should go into business.

But with that put aside,

As far as my manga goes,

I have:
Miracle Girls 1-9
Fruits Basket 1-2
Saint Tail 1-7
Zodiac P.I. 1-2
Nausicaa 1-2
Mink 1

I've read OODLES more than this, but I'm trying to buy in moderation. I'm savin' my cash as best I can *pocket spontaneously combusts* AHHH!!! I knew all that cash would burn a hole in my pocket. I've gotta go buy some manga.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

[quote="MillicentKnight"]Ah, yes, but now can you solve the lost sock mystery? ]

Well, Millicent, this mystery is the number one mystery and is as old as sliced bread. That wording right there gives you the answer to the number two mystery which is "Why does the pantry smells so bad". But back to the sock question--

The truth is that socks are being used by aliens as testing speciments. You ever heard of the Burmuda triangle? Area 51? All mass burial grounds for mutated socks.

Yes, I can hear you all out there, laughing at me. I know what you're thinking. You're thinking "What would aliens possibly want to know about socks?" I'll tell you what they want to know! They want to know the same things about socks that you want to know about socks: "What makes the left one different from the right one?!"

--- It's only a matter of time before they figure it out and take over out primitive sock-ignorant society.

How is Brain Powered anyways? I've seen it on the shelf (I think it's the cover to 3 that I adore-- it's has the girl and the guy on it).
