So I hope this is the right place for this. I wasn't sure where else I should post it. Anyway, I am planning on starting a anime/Japanese appreciation club when I go back to college in a few weeks and I was wondering what exactly you do in an anime club XD
I was thinking about it and figured I should as you all cause I know a lot of you are already in anime clubs so you can give some pointers. Thanks!

In my highschool anime club we would watch an episode or two of an anime (or change it up with a movie) and occasionally go to the semi-local Asian Market for a day trip.

The soc (club) at my old uni used to have weekly showings of a few episodes (usually a selection of different shows), and pretty frequent meals or jaunts to relevant events.
The general trend I've heard is that, now that acquiring anime has become a bit easier, the focus of this sort of thing has shifted to emphasise socialising a bit more and distribution a bit less.
