Viz licensed Blue Dragon TV, which is their second license before a show is finished (the first one was Death Note, but we knew that it wouldn't end until Ep. 37).

FUNimation now licensed Jigoku Shojo and will release it as "H*ll Girl". They also have My Santa and Shuffle!

Okay, sorry to jump on your back like that.

I wonder (assuming they will soon be getting it) if it's just the first series or both. Funny though, shows like AIR and Kannon don't seem to be quite a... ADV title. If anything, a Geneon one.

If they do get it. I would think that they would get both. I would think they would get a deal to get both, since they pick up Xenosaga. Toei did the the first Kanon and Xenosaga.

But I hope they pick up the remake of Kannon done by Kyoto Animation. I hear that one is better.

Also ADV nabbed the domain name of Xenosaga TV.

It has been now confirm that ADV has pick up Xenosaga.

Last week on AOD, it was reported that Xenosaga, Vol #1 would come out on September 11.

I don't know if they'll pick them up or not, but I got an email from ADV Films saying they would forward my summaries on Venus Versus Virus and Akahori Gedou Hour Rabuge to their liscencing department, so we may be seeing those shows showing up soon. With the second one most likely having a different name.

AX announcement from ADV:

Regarding the possibility of licensing Kanon 2006, a series made by the same team that worked on Air, the panelists all hinted at the strong possibility of this happening. Greenfield asked fans to pay attention to future convention announcements, and mentioned that the voice actors for Air were chosen just in case they needed to make a cameo appearance in Kanon 2006, as is done in the Japanese version.

Why should people know about titles that are hentai anyway? What's the point if even bring them up?

He didn't say they were hentai,he just said they were on the Do Not Discuss list.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is on the DND list and certainly isn't hentai. Why do people think any title on the DND list is instantly hentai?

Any way don't forget that Bandai is coming out with both of the Silent Mobius movies and the Gundam Seed Destiny movie as well.

Hell Girl coming out on Funimation. Can't wait. That's one title from Funimation I would be waiting to see.

Two of the three titles are hentai. I saw the AX press release for Media Blasters and they gave the names of the titles and they are hentai.

A good number of the titles that Media Blaster had for their press release at AX were iffy to even post here and why I didn't post anything about their press release.

I think it will, I just don't know who will get it now. Since that little report before AX con, that ADV had the domain address for Kanon.

But we just have to wait and see on what news comes out of Otakon 2007.

Bandai has Toward the Terra, Ayakashi Ayashi, My-Otome Zwei, and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. The last one is apparantly getting a TV deal.

So, between Geass and Ouran, two big fan favorites were announced at Otakon.

ADV hasn't official reported that they have Kanon 2006, but this was posted on animeondvd.com on Tuesday.

Nothing official, but could it can't get too much more probable than the low and high bandwidth trailers that are available on the ADV Films site. There was a quicktime version as well but that appears to no longer be working.

The bad thing is, as of today. All links to the Kanon 2006 trailer on ADV web site don't work anymore.
