Weirdest Reason for Watching an Anime?

I watched a few episodes of Squid Girl because the comments on the Crunchyroll eps said that the main character was like Invader Zim. XD

I started watching Legend of Legendary Heroes because of the title. I thought it would be a flunk Gag anime, but it turned out to be an amazing medival type drama type thingy... type. ▬_▬ Anyways, I really like it.

I started watching Mobile Suit Gundam Seed because my Chinese otaku friend told me: "You have to watch it because...the boys are so pretty!!!" lol. and i officially started b/c my anime store had a buy 3 get 1 free sale and i got the 1st disc for free. 
So...i was told to watch it because of the bishounen.

I would buy a DVD of a series and let it sit for awhile and then see a little of it at a con and then want to watch the whole thing. I have a few I have to see as yet and then I see another series out there end up buying it and wait to find a time to look at it.

At one point of my life, I was obsessed with vampires, so I set out to find a good vampire title, so I started looking into all kinds of titles, most of which I rejected, but I found Blood+, so I watched it... Or maybe that's not much for a strange reason.
Another time was when I had started Code Geass simply because I loved CLAMP's artwork, and someone I met said that it advertised Pizza Hut a lot. But, I didn't get far into it...
One Piece: It was about pirates. I had never heard of it before, had known little about it, but it had pirates.
Yeah... I (maybe) have better reasons for watching the others I've seen so far...

I started watching it, because my brother [who now pretty much hates anime] beckoned me to watch Yu-Gi-Oh! And I got hooked!
