This will be the line for Sat for July.

FLCL will get anoher run.

There is no word on about Escaflowne the movie being showed. It going to be showed in July, but doesn't look like it.

Wingzero22

I knew they'd bring back Bebop I mean they always do.:eyeroll: Oh well can't blame em if it get's them ratings. I was kinda getting sick of SAC anyway, but that's probably because I own almost the entire series. Oh well 2nd Gig is awesome and I'll be able to see it in English this fall. Which is good since it's alot more complicated and text heavy.

Yeah, I had a feeling that they would show Bebop again. You that CN will get some points from Bandai by showing CB again. With Cowboy Bebop remix dvd's are coming out in Sept and you know that CN would show CB again for that.

The other reason why AS maybe showing CB again is this. The contract that AS has for Cowboy Bebop should be ending around Labor day of this year.

Are they going to show FLCL all of this month? It's only 6 eps.so I was wondering if they were going to get back to Trigun after last week.
Btw:Anyone know what's supposed to be scheduled on Anime Unleashed following
Gungrave?

I think the reason CN is going to keep it on all this mouth is to help sell the FLCL Ultimate Edition Boxed Set, when it comes out.

G4 pick up Colorful and will run after Gungrave is being showed on Anime Unleashed.

EEEK!!! BEBOP IS COMING BACK!!! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy about that!! I LOVE Bebop!! Kinda sucks that GITS is gone, but it's had several run-throughs on CN already, and I've seen it all...I have yet to see all of Bebop, though. Well, I'm glad that CN is having some sense knocked into them! It's about time they brought back Bebop! ^_^ I'm so excited!!

This maybe the reason why they are going to show Escaflowne the movie in October.

Now this is only a rumor, so I wouldn't hold my breath on this one.

That FMA will be coming back in Aug. I don't know how much this is true or not, but if it is. Then we could be seeing new eps of FMA soon.

But for now, I just think that this is a rumor.

I'll wait and see.
I looked it up at the Anime News Network. It only has 16 eps.
I figure the reason why AU is irritating fans these days is because
G4 is fully in charge now and they want to have their own anime line up.
This is understandable since they now are running the network. However,
as I noted it is rather irritating the way they been going about it.

That's annoying. They dropped Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex without running it through completely. To make it even more annoying, the one episode they didn't air this time through was the very LAST one (which I have not seen).

According to the AS cards, FMA will be back in August. This kind of surprised some folks who were expecting a full run of Samurai Champloo, though some believe it has to do with Saturday's struggle to hold ratings without FMA.

There is speculation that the new run of Cowboy Bebop on AS is to help generate interest in the airing of the CB movie (Knockin' on Heaven's Door), which AS is set to show in the fall.

Also, for those with digital cable, AS On Demand recently added the Escaflowne movie to its lineup.

Any word when/if G4 will reshow R.O.D. TV? :shady:

I am really liking their new line-up since they moved Samurai Champloo up and it is the only show out of all of them that I haven't seen all of the episodes yet. What I cant wait for is when Naruto starts since I haven't ever watched it *hides in a corner*

Well, I guess that rumor that I heard was true then.

To add to that speculation. This could be the last time we see Cowboy Bebop on AS.

Edit: I just found this out.

Adult Swim will expanded into the 10pm hour on Sundays this October.

I wonder why?

Hmmm....That could be very good news...No idea what they'll be showing though...

Whoops, scratch that...I remember reading somewhere that AS was going to air NGE sometime soon. No idea when, but October could be the month they decide to do that. I wish they would bring back Sailor Moon or Gundam Wing...*sighs*

I wish I had Bill Gates' money then I'd buy CN from those Evil people
at AOL-Time-Warner and replace the stupid comedies(except Futurama)
with Anime on Sundays all the time.

But seriously as someone who's third favorite anime is Dual! I can't wait to see NGE! :thumb:

Yeah, word has it the license expires soon. It would seem kind of surprising for them not to renew it, since Bebop is kind of the legendary AS anime. But I guess we'll see.

Wingzero22 wrote:Edit: I just found this out.

Probably because comedy is where they draw in the BIG numbers (ratings, and even more importantly, advertising). Plus they have quite a few new comedies set to premiere this fall. And of course 10:00 was the start time when AS first premiered. I just hope they will realize they're dealing with an earlier time slot and won't feel the need to start raunching it up too much, especially at that hour.

Rurouni_Kaoru wrote:I remember reading somewhere that AS was going to air NGE sometime soon. No idea when, but October could be the month they decide to do that.

I read (I believe on Toonzone) that it will probably be at least 2006 before they run it, though they haven't said exactly when.

I wish they would bring back Sailor Moon or Gundam Wing...*sighs*

Agreed... I never got to see GW. I also wouldn't mind seeing 0083 again.

I think there are plenty of anime that used to be on CN that everyone wishes they would bring back such as Outlaw Star and Gundam Wing. However I wonder if
they'll ever do Gundam Seed Destiny.I hope so it would be nice if they would
continue that particuliar Gundam franchise before even thinking of getting
Gundam Wing back.

On the other hand does anyone even think now that Anime Unleashed will ever get around to acquiring Banner of the Stars II?

The bad thing is, CN doesn't have the rights to Outlaw Star and Tenchi and they have been pick up by some channel like two years ago. I don't know if they still have the rights to show those, but CN would have to pick up the rights again for those. Also, Gundam Wing would have be acquire again as I don't think any channel has the rights to show GW, but I know that CN did drop GW and would have to pay to get it back.

The problem is that it seems that as soon as CN adds a new anime series to either
Toonami or AS unless it becomes really popular it suddenly disappears from the
lineup.
In other words there are some shows that they don't really give enough time to
get an audience before they cancel them.

So I guess the Anime Network's NGE license is expiring then. Never would of thought that Evangelion would be played on AS. I know ADV and Cartoon Network had a huge falling out after the Toonami fiasco and they refused to license them any of their shows. Anyone know how this came about? I can't find anything specific in a search I did. Deffinetly gonna have to go through some editing in the later episodes.

Anyway I'm dissapointed Champloo won't be played through all the way. But I was going to get all the DVD's anyway I just only have the first one for now. And it would be cool if they could bring back some classics like Gundams like Wing, 0080, and 8th Team again.

I foresee many, many horrendous edits if they play Evangelion on Adult Swim. If memory serves me correctly, they've already shown the first two or three episodes of Evangelion on Toonami, and they were completely and totally butchered...heck, they completely removed Pen Pen from the show entirely.

Oh well...
