Great job, Pascal. I like the music notes effects that you used, and the background is wild.

Wow. Nice, Pascal. I like his hair.

Well, I finally colored my entry, so here it is. I used colored pencils.

Bio:
Name: Miu
Age: 19

Story:
Miu shares a two-bedroom apartment with his three friends and whoever they know that needs a place to sleep at night. Needless to say, it can get a bit crowded at times. Whenever he wants to be alone, Miu grabs his guitar and retreats into the laundry closet, the one place he is sure no one will bother him.

Note: I realize that Miu is typically a girl's name. However, my story is set in the future, and by then the name "Miu" has changed to slang for "loner."

Nice job Aileen! Love the colored pencils. And nice backstory; is Miu a character from a larger project you're working on?

Hmm, yes, good colors you've chosen Aileen. It gives a very somber mood to the image. I like it!

Thanks, SA and Esoteric.

Yes. He's part of a story that I've been building for the past year or so.

;O;.....STUPID COMPUTER ERASED MY DESCRIPTION ~/)O(\~

Name: Mia

Description: A girl in her late teens. She's a tom-boy who enjoys anything repulsive. She's very immature, yet tough. Her favorite type of 'instrument' is anything that makes rude noises.

Great Job Aileen and ShadowCat! I didn't actually know that Miu was a girls name, and I love the "sneeze" instrument!

Here's my entry:
Image
Character Description:

Name: Louisa
Age: 19
Personality: In a word - spunky. Nothing ever gets her down. Though some may criticize her for her eternal optimism, saying Louisa's too dumb to know otherwise, Louisa is really actually a very smart and grounded person. She knows that life can be miserable, but would rather spend her time happy then in constant complaint.

Story:
Louisa was always one for dressing up in costume, Halloween, fancy dress parties, or really any occassion she could make up an excuse for. Among her favorite accessories were wire and mesh fairy wings. Louisa made no attempts to hide the fact that she owned more pairs of fairy wings than other girls did pairs of shoes. She could frequently be seen around the conservatory in purple wings in the morning, blue after tea, and red for dinner. The other students simply found her a charming oddity, and the professors turned a blind eye since her apparent social eccentricities did not affect her devotion to music.

One late spring afternoon, Louisa found herself staring off into space instead of going through her usual strict practice regimen on her violin. She decided to take a break and headed off to a nearby pond frequented by overly-friendly, over-fed ducks. As she walked around the pond, Louisa failed to notice that some of the surrounding rocks were dangerously slick. Her ballet flats provided no traction what-so-ever, and Louisa fell head-first into the pond, wings, violin and all.

Never having bothered to learn the fine art of swimming, Louisa sunk quickly to the bottom of the pond. Fortunately, mere seconds later, several sets of strong hands lifted her out. It took a few seconds for her to realize that the princely young man and his friends were wearing fairy wings as well. Only theirs were real.

After escorting her to a nearby cottage to dry off, they explained that by some freak twist of nature, the pond was an access point into the fairy realm. One only needed to completely submerge in the pond in the human realm, and they would re-appear in the realm of fairies. Unfortunately, no return point had yet been found. Taking everything in stride, Louisa declared that she would simply discover it the very next day. That night, as she drifted off to sleep in a guest room of the castle, she pondered over the days events, her carefully dried violin resting beside her.

She awoke to find herself in a hospital bed surrounded by the worried faces of her friends from the conservatory. Not missing a beat, Louisa declared that she would be taking up swimming lessons within the week.

---

I ran out of time, and didn't get to do the picture and character I had originally intended. So I just whipped up this picture in an hour instead.

<.< ... >.>

Okay, I fib. I ran out of time, so this is a drawing that I did over break that fortunately fit since it had an instrument in it. I did make up the story though.

:D

Congrats Pascal! Can't wait to see what you come up with for the topic this month.

hehe. I figured I might as well have fun with the bio if I couldn't do the picture I really had wanted to do.
