Awesome Souba. Very unique looking technique. The sepia-esque colors are very visually pleasing.

It's that time of the year for students to be pwn'd by homework, bleh. But thankfully, last night was when I turned in my mid-term project, so I should actually have sleep and free time for a little while. *dances* I hardly know what those are anymore. ;_;

I echo: "what does the Japanese say?"

So cool! I love that; the textures look really great. Excellent work, Souba. Ga-bah! *Excalamation of your success in making Psoph amazed with your entry* ;)

Thank you everyone, I'm glad you like the coloring, and I'm honored Psoph for your amazment. -_-*bows* As for the Japanese:
It's from a very old manga digest I have, the guy says "I love you, Alice" and her reply is " yea... reall... but, [your]attitude, [needs] explai..." roughly translated of course. :P
God Bless,
Souba

Thanks, I've always liked bright colors. Used to drive my art teacher nuts. I wanted to put mushrooms and other things in the picture too, but there's really only so much you can do with a touchpad...o.O

Aaahh! Between homework, job interviews, voice lessons, YIG meetings, and overall business, I haven't been able to work on this at ALL. T_T I'm afraid I'm gonna have to pull out for this month...:( Hopefully, next month will be less busy, and I'll actually be able to do something with the contest. XD; Sorry Savannah, I really was looking forward to coloring it! I might color it later if I have time though, just for kicks. XD

Don't worry; not everyone can participate in every colouring comp every month. ^_^ There'll always be other months, too. ^^

WAHH... T_T no entries...

Come on... someone enter before midnight!

I will try and post results tomorrow... does anyone have some lineart I could use for next month?

<.< >.> *raises hand* I might have something you can use. Lineart for this drawing. I even have it as it's own layer at 600 dpi in Photoshop still.

I've got a lineart! It's a pretty old picture, but I did recently color it (traditionally) for an art show at my school. :thumb:

Aw... not so many entries this month. T_T Guess everyone was busy.
However, the ones that were entered were definitely of a high quality. ^^

SORRY for the delay!! I got really sick the last couple of days T_T

but now I am ready to announce the winners!

In the best technical entry-

SOUBA

and in most creative-

QTHECREATOR (sp?)

CONGRATULATION!

Although I do have say it WAS extremely difficult to judge in all three categories! there was so much talent this time around even if there weren't many entries!

As for next month I was thinking we could use radical dreamers! and then for december we could use Soul Alives!! cuz her's is more... christmas-ish!

if thats okay with both of you thats what Im gonna do!

Congrats Souba and Q!

Fine with me. I can hopefully participate this month, but my final studio project is due right before thanksgiving, so things could get hairy. If I can't participate, I will certainly cheer everyone else on.

Like me! Cheering from the sidelines is fun too. And much less effort. ;)

I echo that: congrats, Souba and Q! All the entries this month were really spectacular. ^^

Hmm... more Christmassy depending on where you live. The dolphin pic reminds me of Christmas over here; 'cause of course, it's summer. You should see our greeting cards... a mix of traditional Christmas trees, Santa in his gear, etc... and then ones with Santa cooking meat on the BBQ at the beach... native, seasonal Christmas time flowers... it's kind of weird when you think about it.

Both the linearts look really fun. If I have time, and my hands are up to it, and I can manage to steal CreatureArt's tablet pen for a day or two, I'd love to do a few quick entries. ^^ Even if I don't, I hope there'll be a lot more colourers for the next two months; those are some really next linework pieces to colour. ^^

QtheQreater. I know, it's confusing...

Thanks guys!

I noticed quite a few places I missed in that thing, but I had fun doing it...that was some pretty awesome lineart...
