It's finally done! Granted, it's not even close to being refined. But I still had fun with it, and that's why I wanted to enter.

Well, it's got a nice simple composition (which are often the best) and the colors go well together. I think it looks nice! The only thing I really notice is...there sure is a strong easterly breeze on that grass. ;)

Way to go meboeck! I'm glad you made it

I love the soft realistic shading on the figure and the grass is really cool ^^

So I'm thinking that the contest is officially closed as of midnight tonight. I'm out most of tomorrow and it's going to be really tough judging the contest this time around, so the results probably won't be posted until later in the week. I'll probably have to call in a guest judge or two as well ^^;

Thanks a ton to everyone who entered! It was great to see such a large turnout and the entries are all very excellent :thumb:

Wow we have so many entries this month.
And even a new artist has joined the group.

Chii How in the world did you make red and yellow look good together?
Anyway I like it. You did a good job. And welcome to the fold.

Meboeck ummm balls look like candy.
And I like the blond hair and green eyes it’s a nice contrast with the rest of the colors.

And I’m not the least bit impatient to know how this will all turn out.
Nope not one little bit.

*Grinds teeth*
AHHHH I can’t take it anymore.

I'm hoping to get the results up tomorrow night. I'm so sorry to keep everyone waiting in suspense.

CR and I are trying to coordinate a time tomorrow to discuss the results. I've asked for her help this month since she's the line-artist and she was okay with probably having to disqualify her entry. Thanks again for the bajillionth time CR!

Also, do you guys want me to try and get the results posted on the front page? Er, once we have results?

Esot Erik? That reminds me of a friend the other day who read the word 'shred' as 'S H Red'. Well, you're not the first person to think that CR. In fact, when I first joined, many people thought I was a guy, which forced me to add the female symbol to my name. I guess...it's still taking effect??
