^ Sounds interesting. It'd be fun to watch an old school anime! I should add it to my CrunchyRoll watchlist then (I'm a free member on there).

^ Unless you're paying, then you have a limited number of days you can watch anime free. I signed up for free membership, but I save those days for anime that are currently airing, and watch the free for everyone shows without signing in.

^ Thanks for the advice. I didn't know that. I only made an account 'cause there were certain anime I could not watch unless signed in (like Tegami Bachi and Steins;Gate).

^ Yeah, you only get about 14 free days. Something I do to conserve my free days is to wait two weeks, then watch all the episodes that have come out that I want to see. It usually ends up in a one-day anime extravaganza, because I'm usually following more than one series. Since I signed up back when it was a 30 day free trial, this means I can stretch out my free days for half a year.

^ Oh, you have a free trial account? I just have a regular run-of-the-mill free account XD!!

You sure? A friend of mine tried to sign up recently- not the trial membership, the regular one, and they asked for her credit card info, which meant that she would have to pay after the membership was over.

That's odd; no such information was asked of me ('cause if it was I wouldnj;t join since I got no credit card). You said recently? Maybe that's a new thing and I'm under a grandfather clause XD!!

I signed up in the early days of the site. Do they still let you watch w/o signing up?

Yep. I don't sign in most of the time- I just click through and watch what I want. Can't watch the most recently aired episode for a few days, but eh.

@ Animegirl- since by recently I mean two or three months ago, probably not that much of a grandfather clause! xD

Haha, true. I forgot when I signed up, but I seriously never ran into that problem. Some series I can watch without logging in, while a few others I had to be logged in.

Man, this htread has turned into CrunchyRoll discussion Oh well, CrunchyRoll <333

Haha, thanks. I am curious your take on it, since we tend to be opposite a lot XD!! But that's why your reviews are so good - I value your honesty.

congratulations!
That's why I said you should review some essential titles. It'd be great to see your views on extremely popular stuff like Ghost in the Shell, Naruto, , or One Piece for instance.

^ Yeah. Some of those series are a bit on the long side, though, and do not peak my interest much. I think the only "really" popular title I have ever reviewed is Fullmetal Alchemist, and for some reason, the Tsubasa Spring Thunder OVA has reached as #1 most viewed on my list.

I do intend to broaden my horizons, though. I've already started on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and intend to review that, the movie, and Episode 0. Also, my dad finally convinced me to watch Claymore, and I like so far, so expect a review from me when I finish. Also, since my mom reads Vampire Knight, I can barrow the manga from her and review them volume by volume (it's become a rather popular shoujo lately). And I really, really wanna watch Eureka Seven!!! That is like top on my watchlist!! And even though not "technically" anime, I plan to review the original Thundercats series (my dad got me into it, we still need to see the new version).

But keep the recommendations coming!! I have so much on my watchlist, though, it'll take some time to get to, but don't think I've ever ignored your suggestions. I just haven't been able to get to them ^.^;

Thundercats was done by a Japanese studio, I think. Besides, you reviewed Avatar. I can help with the Thundercats review. It was one of my favorites!

Lately? Dear goodness, that's been super-popular since it came out! (don't really know why, myself, though...)

Still excited about your eventual review on Millennium Actress, since it's one of my favorite movies.

Yeah, you can be my second opinion! And the new Thundercats is done by a Japanese studio, too, so I plan to review it as well. (Just watched the first episode. It's....very different, but I still like it).

Yeah, not sure why VK is so popular either. I mean I kind of like it. I wouldn't consider myself a big fan, though. (I'm still mad that it seems to be exceeding FMA!)

Yes! I wanna watch that. Sorry I haven't gotten to it yet. I plan to have a review sometime next week if I can, and then I can mail it back to you immediately ^.^
