With "G.Fast", when internet goes through copper, high throughput speeds are said to be achieved in short distances. Wireless internet is another possible way of getting high speeds, but with wireless internet theres usually lots of internet packages being lost (especially when there is a high frequency between when sending and/or receiving them).

Do you know what some of the biggest advantages of IPv6 are, IPv4?

I could obviously look that up, but that would be cheating?

IPv6 has better security thingys included in each packet (not that it will make a fatal difference in stopping hackers from hacking into systems). Useless junk that no one uses dont exist in ipv6 packets. More data can be sent in each packet (I think), useless stuff that no one uses has been removed which gives more room for data. Every toaster in the universe can have their very of ip address (no need for subnetting addresses).

edit: instead of better security it should say: ipv6 has security implemented, unlike ipv4 which was made in a time when security wasnt a concern.

That was the biggest one that I was thinking of. Also, it's a nice idea to not have to do port forwarding.

Don't forget the larger address space.

Due to the larger address space, every toaster can have a ipv6 address.

The batman trilogy is really good

Even if port forwarding wouldnt be necessary it increases the security for normal users which may unknowingly have ports open on their pc:s which hackers uses to hackkkkk

I hope that IPv6 adoption won't take more than a few years....

its not that funny and maybe I shouldnt have posted it. its a youtuber that just got 100k subscribers and posted a video of a muddy arnold schwarzenegger shouting in the jungle (its from an Alien movie).

the youtuber argues against certain worldviews, altough I sometimes find the arguments flawed.
