MOES: A club for curteous users (with SANE sigs!)

Spawned by the randomness of the general board, here are the threads where you can do fun, pointless things. You may test the forum's features and make signature or avatar requests. Posts made here do not go towards your post count.

Just wondering, it doesn't matter what the monitor size is, does it?

I also wonder when there are members who are going to want to retaliate, or the "no mo' moes" rebel group. Hopefully it won't come to that. :3

Amusingly, adding any such stock MOES lines would mutually exclude me from joining.

Then again, there is that whole curtious behavior clause.

There doesn't appear to be a universal standard for scroll length. My usual computer doesn't scroll my current sig (though it does a couple others), wheras the computer I'm currently using scrolls nothing (not even Jon Jinn's signature).

The universal standard is "250 px." If your font renders differently on different OS/Browser versions, you'll run into trouble around 240 px. To be safe, keep it below 225 and everyone will be happy.

This is a test, a test of the sig response network.

Please turn your attention to the sig below and notify tester if said sig is in compliance with the above stated terms of "Moes"

Thank you for your cooperation.

My sig is still more efficient than yours. In fact, mine is in a whole other league, inhabited by the likes of ShiroiHikari, Ingemar, and UC Pseudonym.

The one liners.
Well, UC's is two lines, but one of them is really short so it's okay.
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

Testing. 1. 2. 3.

I know mine's only text, but it just occurred to me that it still might be too big. . .
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.
