hmm it looks interesting

and I hope what I'm about to say won't discouage you guys... I like your sketches and all..but the way you color them is really strange... it looks very rushed, and unclean..

Is there a way that you can clean up your colors and color them in another program? It looks like your artist just used the "fill" option in MSpaint to color and thats...not exactly a good idea all the time...

Sorry if I offended you, but your idea sounds nifty, but it would be even better with cleaner artwork...

well that it would. We don't have very many artists for this project; so if you would like to help clear the artwork up; it's highly appreciated. This series has alot of artists from various fields. This series is for teenagers; partially by teenagers. Some of the artists are really good, our current graphic artist is a beginner.

The average Anime studio employs several dozen artists, animators, writers, voice actors, and technicians, producing a single 22 minute episode at thousands of dollars, and a number sponsors to make it to commercial television. Googling Gabriel McKnight Productions invariably leads to a freeware forum with five members and nearly a few more posts. Your rudimentary plot reads as fairly contrived and heavy handed (theological implications shelved for now), official art is all across the board and inconsistent, and you have neither an animation nor a technical staff.

Gauging your current rate of production, the first episode will premier late October 2071. I'll be sure to catch it on TiVo.

It's not an Anime, it's a short story series with anime-ish artwork and a Manga is also being concieved. Actually we have alot of staff that are not registered on our website as well, various authors, artists, music composers; who haven't registered. We also do various cgi-short films, etc; although most everything not relating to the series has been canceled or handed off to other affiliated Producers to produce. It's none-profit, since we believe in ministering for free, not profit unlike various Christian Authors and groups.

Non-profit organizations still rely on sufficient funding for basic costs and production values. It takes a lot of money to not make money. Even if your allegedly branching staff is volunteer, you'll need to cover publishing and distribution, particularly with a cover price of $0.00.

well what comes out of our pockets pays for the basic necessities, especially since most of the crew are college students.

So, is this a college project? Or an actual anime-ish project? How will you guys get this "out there"?

It's an an actual anime-ish project. It will be hosted online and downloadable. It's a Massive Multimedia Project (MMP), using various multimedia platforms to tell various in-Universe stories relating to the series.

Japanese will be spoken in the episodes, so will English and Aldean. English will be the primary language of the series though. There will be translations that will go along with each episode in each volume.

With Guardian Apprentice being a part of Far Star Chronicles, there have been alot of new works of art being intermixed between the series. Far Star Chronicles: Creed is the first story in the FSC series. The stories take place in multiple universes with various characters from different series. The protagonist in Creed is Eric Ryuse(Ari). Anyways, here is some preview art.

Image

The artwork is of Ari standing infront of Yasada Auditorium on the Hongo Campus of Tokyo University in the Spirit Realm( The realm of Angels, Demons and spirits dwell). The character art used in this piece is by artist Aalanfae who is an really good artist working on Guardian Apprentice.

So does Ari ever not just stand there coolly withdrawn in a perpetual boyscout salute?

lol, character wise he's withdrawn most of the time and it's not a boy scout salute, it's a martial arts stance(for those who don't know much of martial arts, do research). Anyways a game creator that recently joined the staff is creating an RPG based on Guardian Apprentice.

Hi everyone, it's been a long time. Anyways, work has started on Guardian Apprentice: Volume II; which takes place a couple of months after Volume I. The events that happen in Volume II happen in concert with the events in Far Star Chronicles.
