Due to the number of people mentioning Rock Lee and Sakura, this option has now been added for anyone new entering this thread. I can't say it changes my vote, but at least we have most of the alluded to possible couples.

Sasuke x Sakura!
I'm looking at Chapter 181.

Sakura & Rock Lee. He's so dedicated ^__^! Also, Sakura begins to respect him later on in the series. It's very cute.

Shikamaru & Temari. Shikamaru is annoyed by girls, but he has a lot of respect for Temari (she's awesome!).

Naruto and Hinata, but later on in the series. He's so oblivious!

hmm... who's left... Maybe Neji and TenTen or Ino and Chouji. That would be interesting.

I'm also a fan of Tsunade (the 5th Hokage) and Dan (her boyfriend). Kurenai and Asuma are cute together as well ^__^

The listed couples represent my favorites in the series. When I said Kakashi and the Anbu girl, I was referring to the purple-haired girl who is placing flowers on Obito's grave in episode 80. This is also the episode with

(spoilers!)

Sandaime's (Third Hokage's) funeral. The girl calls him Kakashi-sempai, a term that generally shows respect. She is familiar with him and they grieve together for a moment over the death of Obito, a friend of Kakashi's.

Some have suggested that the girl is none other than the one who used to be on Kakashi's genin team (assuming that Obito was the other male on their team).

The girl also has connections to Hayate. She may be his sister, girlfriend, etc.

I just thought that she and Kakashi had the possibility of having a behind-the-scenes relationship (they both seem comfortable with each other). Who knows? They're both old and mature enough.

And yeah, I do recall that Anbu girl but I never really thought of her with Kakashi. heh

Who are half these people.. . How are you guys reading so far in the series?

I've only read the SJ stuff.

I would imagine most people here do one of the following:
1) Read the original in Japanese
2) Watch the anime that has been translated over the internet
3) Read manga scannalations

I've been very impressed with the Shonen Jump work so far, though they've done some wierd translations a few times.

I USUALLY like to stay out of shipping wars (you should see the ones for Pokemon Special. They're INSANE), but I take passing interest for Team 7, I guess. I prefer NaruSaku/SakuNaru (I can't STAND NaruSasu, sorry Tsukkie; but I do like it better than SasuNaru >_>...), but all the amazing artists do SasuSaku, which 1) needs to be rectified because Sakura should never be on bottom and Sasuke NEVER on top, but unfortunately 2) often unfortunately looks REALLY hot. Extreme... and hot. Extremely hot. It makes me sad.
