Josh Grobon, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Clint Black, Jim Brickman Walton's Christmas CD, Alabama Christmas Collection, and Third Day, and Bing Crosby.

Lyrically, my favorites are stuff like 'Believe' by Josh Grobon, 'The Kid' by Clint Black, and "Christmas like a child' by Third day, songs that deal with being an adult but still holding on to the magic of Christmas.
I also really like songs that are about families, like George Straights 'Old Time Christmas'. I also like instrumental, but fast paced and very gentle.

As far as what I like musically, Josh Grobon is my favorite. The way he sings 'O Holy Night' is freaking epic. I don't know what that is called...classical or almost opera?

Never been a fan of Christmas specific music, but around the holidays I like to listen to Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and other standards.

I play albums (most of my music is on CD) --

My favorite Christmas album is the Walt Disney "30 Favorite Songs of Christmas with Chimes and Chorus". Like a Christmas Carol smorgasbord. There is no CD, so it is ripped from a lovingly abused vinyl LP.

George Winston's "December".

Vince Guaraldi's "A Charlie Brown Christmas" soundtrack.

The Mannheim Steamroller Christmas albums.

Andrew Davis' "Handel's Messiah", with the Toronto Symphony and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. I've heard a lot of Handel renditions, and IMO this is the absolute best and most approachable version.

You'll find me listening to Vanessa Williams' Star Bright. :D

Of course, not until December.

That sounds awesome and is something I would really like to hear. Would you mind listing the titles?

I don’t have a Christmas playlist as such, but Christmas music that I own and might listen to in the coming month includes the following:

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (only their instrumental pieces)
The album Christmas Concertos by I Solisti Italiani (music composed by Torelli, Handel, Vivaldi, Manfredini, Tartini, Locatelli, and Corelli)
a collection of Christmas music performed by the music ensembles of my alma mater
Handel’s Messiah performed by the orchestra and chorus of my alma mater (this is really supposed to be performed for Easter, not Christmas, but I will listen to it around Christmas also)
“O Come, O Come Emmanuel”
“O Holy Night”
“Carol of the Bells”

Borodin - Choir of the Polovtsian Girls, Glory Chorus from Prince Igor, Polovtsian Dance No. 8 and 11
Glazunov - The Seasons: Winter
Liadov - About Olden Times
Mussorgsky - Slavic Christmas Music
Rimsky-Korsakov - Krakowiak, Tumblers' Dance
Tchaikovsky - The Nutcracker
Varlamov - Snow Flurries

And then there's one whose composer I'm not sure of, called "Along the Peterskaya Road."

So, I don't really have a Christmas music playlist as a whole bunch of awful secular Christmas music is played at work, and by the time I come home, Christmas music is the last thing I want to think about.

However, this is my favorite Christmas song. And is the only thing on my Christmas playlist right now.

Thanks! *listening to them now*

By the way, speaking of Rimsky-Korsakov, did you know that he set the Lord's Prayer to music? It isn't specifically Christmas music, just beautiful.
