Got to go with the original. I hate Marilyn Manson with a passion. The guy ruins every song he covers! Not to mention the whole "satanism" thing.

Close call. I actually didn't (don't) like the Marylin cover when I just hear it by itself, but that AMV you linked to scares the bejeepers outta be when I watch it! Every time! The original version just doesn't quite have that effect, and scary is what Halloween is all about.

I like the Manson version more, but only because the AMV is so good. Otherwise, I prefer the original.

In my opinion, Panic! At the Disco's cover doesn't even stand up to the others...

I like the original the best. Danny Elfman's music is just incredible. The different singers give it a more whimsical feel, and it's more like discovering a story than listening to a song alone.

Marilyn Manson's cover was hardcore and well done though... even if what he stands for gives me the creeps.

I like Danny Elfman's version. When I listen to it, I can see Halloweentown in my head. The other versions just make me imagine being at a concert.

Close call btween Manson and Diso, if only based on the song, I probably would have chose Disco, but I am biased toward the creepiness of Soul Eater, I know that is the video I am sending to everyone next Halloween.
