Songs About Sexual Purity!

Ok, I kinda struggle with this a lot, and I know a lot of other people do to, so I thought it would be cool if we put up lyrics to songs that are about this subject.
Here are some that I have found.
Staple-Deathtrap Daisy

I will put more up soon, but I have to eat dinner now...
Edit: Here are some more:

Switchfoot - Easier Than Love http://www.christianrocklyrics.com/switchfoot/easierthanlove.php

True Love Waits by Souljahz.... http://www.christianlyricsonline.com/artists/souljahz/true-love-waits.html

There's a few typos, but I found it understandable.

Underoath's Boy Brushed Red, Living In Black And White tells about the regret after promiscuous(sp?) sex. Insanely awesome song.

Oh yah, I forgot about that one! I love that song! The souljahz song is awesome as well! I will have to check out the stuff by Rebecca St. James (but I am not a huge fan of her music...)

Here is one, sort of. Regret by a band called "Seven Sorrows."
Background: "This is about the lifelong mistake of premarital sex. Even though it may seem right and feel like an expression of love, it is nothing of the sort. It turns our hearts away from God and breaks our relationship with him, as we choose our selfish desires over his love."
When I feel blue, I start breathing again.

Asdvadz hedut ullah! (W. Armenian, "May God bless you!")

It's cosplay, get used to it.

"A hero need not speak. For when he is gone, the world will speak for him."

"One of the nice things about diseases of the brain is they tend to slip your mind." Colbert

Sarcasm.

EDIT: Found it! Of a similair vein from Clay Cross:
Somebody's Daughter
Confronting the Lies of Pornography
2005

Clay sings the title cut ("Somebody's Daughter") and Renee is heard speaking on an excerpt from FamilyLife Today Radio entitled "A Difficult Confession, Part 2."

Not really... it actually helps to read the entire verse in context.

The girl mentioned in the verses starts off by being addicted to lust.

However Christian asks her in the chorus if she longs for purity.

Finally in the second verse, the girl admits that lust is the thing she hates most about herself.

"Check Yourself" by KJ-52 is worth mentioning, although the goofy chorus makes it a little hard to take seriously.

Another somewhat related song is "Video Girl" by Grits, featuring Verbs.

Oh, and since you put Pillar's "Dirty Little Secret" on your list, you might also wanna check out their song "Behind Closed Doors."

Beu99 Is right about that. I actually made a mime to that song and was going to do it in front of a few thousand people...But we only had time to do one of the mimes so we had to drop "Cute Boring Love" because we didn't learn it as well. To bad.

This song might be about sexual purity, but I'm not too certain, really. It would be nice if someone else could tell.

In a roundabout way, "PS" by Project 86 is about sexual purity. It vehemently attacks pornography and the effect it has on the people that are touched by it.

"Her heart, oh her heart bleeds

It is this basis for your heartfelt hunger so gaze at the page, at the faces of nameless
You're alone again
And this distortion's an apt replacement for an unquenchable desire for more
More pages strewn across this sickening floor
I can't look at this
I can't look at you
I can't

If they saw what those eyes have seen

Oh, how her heart it would bleed
If she only knew those abusive roots
And how the children would weep if they only saw what those eyes have seen
It always keeps us longer than we wanted to stay
Always takes us further than we wanted to go, go, go
But you don't mind
No, you don't mind at the time

Begging to be set free...what we were meant to be

It's inside you, and your soul is longing, yearning, pleading to be set free
Within your eyes, within my eyes, within our eyes
There could never be a more complete perversion of what we were meant to be
And with all that is in me, I hate this
As we're sinking inside this ever-feeding illness
We are all silent
Sitting still"
I'm a shoe-in for hater of the year.

There was rather an interesting song that I heard performed by the band Altan, which does traditional celtic music. A sort of cautionary tale about a young woman who gave her virginity for a promise that was broken. The moral I take from it is that one's virginity should only be given after the vow. It's perhaps a more pragmatic sort of story, but it makes a good point.

The striking last lines go:

For there's not a girl in this whole wide world
As easily led as I
And when fishes can fly and the seas run dry
It is then that you'll marry I
It is then that you'll marry I

I don't know if it is one they wrote or if it is traditional. The lyrics to the song, entitled "Blackwaterside", can be found here:

There are quite a few songs by Superchick and Barlowgirl about sexual purity. Dude...I never realized what that P86 song was about and it's one of my all time favorites...

Also "Standing On Corners" by Staple...And the second song on Emery's cd "The Question." It seems to be about the destroying affects of premarital sex.

I believe that's it Grubb. Another song that isn't quite about this subject but falls really closely is What Happened To Our Love by The Undecided. It's critizing christians who treat people who get abortians like crap and not try and help them out with the emotional damage and whatnot that abortions cause.
