Mural in my kid's room.

Postby nillapoet » Mon Apr 28, 2014 12:38 pm

So, my 13 year old step son said he wanted a mural in his room. Drawing on textured walls is not fun.

This is what I have so far. I'll update as I fill up the wall.

That. Is. Awesome.

Oh. My. Gosh! How on earth are you able to draw in the same art styles of these two animes?! It's amazing... :wow!:

Thanks for the kind words. For some reason, I can draw what I see pretty decently, but my own characters are just "eh".

Added Gageel and Levy and added some shading to Kirito's hair. I have some minor things to touch up and open space to figure out how to connect.

Wow! A fantastic piece of art!

Mind if I ask how long you've been drawing (as in with an aim to improve, not including doodles from when you were three) ?

So in theory if I draw a lot everyday for the next 18 years I would get close to your skill level then. And that's on the assumption I am at least as talented as you? :)

Haven't made much progress because of the heat lately. The room is like a sauna. So, here's something else I drew recently. I like to draw characters I like. Haven't done a whole lot of original material in a while.

Good job nilla! As usual, your drawings are awesome :D

Just a question out of curiosity, did you use the Natsu in your avatar as a model for drawing Edward? I'm only asking as their poses are strikingly similar.

I did not. But that is a nice little coincidence.

Thanks everyone. I've got an Asuna Yuuki drawing I'm trying to finish up which I'm really proud of and will post the final.
