I'm back! Does anyone even remember me? I've been gone for two whole years! Man, how time flies! In that time I moved away from all my family and friends to seek adventure in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! I got nice desk job with good pay and have been living in Sammamish, WA. Right after I moved here, I met Terry, who is now my boyfriend. November 6th will mark our 2 year anniversary!

Let's see.. Well I've been kinda of out of touch with the anime world. However, my faith in Jesus has been steadily becoming more... what's the word? Urgent? I'm just so hungry for more and more information, teachings, fellowship! I still have great turmoil in my family regarding religion. Most of them are of of the agnostic, liberal, pro-choice, pro-tolerance, politically correct variety. It seems like the more I learn and grow as a christian and the more steadfast I become in my faith, the more they think of me as some kind of lunatic extremist. For instance, if I say that I believe that it is a sin to be homosexual, they think of me as the kind of people in "V for Vendetta" who sent all the gay people to torture camps.

Anyway, the point is: I may be out of touch with anime, but I know there's much more to this site than that. The CAA is an awesome group of christians and I hope to be able to reconnect here and find some good support to help me on my journey to know Christ better.

Apologetics is my main focus these days. PM me if this area happens to be your forte. I need all the help I can get!

Hey, everyone! I'm taking a trip to Merry Ol' England for three weeks. Although I will be updating my LiveJournal on occasion I doubt I'll be frequenting these forums. I may pop in on occasion, but mostly I'll be off-line. Places of destination include London, Edinburgh, Blackpool and other places of cultural and historical interest. Within three weeks I'll be back to usual, terrorizing the CAA. See you around...

I remember you a bit. I haven't been around lately either, but I remember seeing you in the manga thread a lot, and when Omega Amen was doing that contest for most attractive female anime character....

Hi, I hope this is the right place to put this.

Anyway I bought a brand new computer and I had some problems with it and I had to take it back to the place I bought it from so they could check it out. I had to get the username and password again but I'm back now.

I was in a few roleplays and I'm sorry I haven't been active in them.

I guess it's been about a year since I more or less left the internet. I want to apologize to anyone I hurt by my absence.

At the time, I did not feel able to do differently, or even explain.

Because of things that happened involving me and online communities, I was dealing with some ambivalence and pain. As well, the pain of friends, acquaintances, and even strangers online, whom I could do nothing to help, compounded my pain.

At one point, I realized that what was once a positive experience and a great blessing had become a source of pain and needless sorrow. I couldn't help the other people who were hurting, and being online so much didn't help me, either. Instead of being a fun, joyful, and blessed thing, every time I got online I began to grow deeply depressed. One day, because of extremely painful feelings, I simply had to stop.

I miss the online community and feeling of connectedness with people that I talked with through CAA, LJ, and AIM. I occasionally dip back in, to see how people are doing, but I doubt I will ever really "return."

I wish I had done some things differently, but I probably wouldn't be able to, even if I could do it all over again.

I'm sorry to anyone I hurt by my absense. I also apologize for any words spoken in anger during the time I have known you. I tried not to hurt anyone's feelings in my stay here, but I'm sure I did not always succeed. Please forgive me for any hurts I've caused you.
