My Internal Personality Conflict

So for probably well over a year I've been having this really terrible scary internal personality conflict. What is basically happening is I'm having bad thoughts which will say the opposite of my opinion and it also wants me to do bad things which I would never do nor have I ever done. It got to a point to where I got depressed because of it and I started having an extremely low opinion of myself. And then a month or two around July 2014 this gone worse. Back in September I started volunteering at this Nursing Home that my Mother works at and I met an old lady who was good friends with my late Great Grandmother. Before I had prayed to God asking him for a friend and I believe that maybe me becoming friends with my Great Grandma's old friend is maybe the answer to my prayer.
In recent months, The Personality Conflict is not as bad though it still bothers and scares me from time to time. So could you guys please keep me in your prayers if you pray, Thank you and God Bless.
