IC: A very short, large framed man made his way to the microphone on the platform located in the center of town. The platform is only used for announcements to the townspeople so it was hardly ever used. The man placed a couple papers on the stand in front of him so it would be easier for him to read.

All of the townspeople gathered around the platform to hear what the Monarch had to say.

The Monarch cleared his throat before beginning. "Hello Everyone. The reason I'm up here is to tell you.." He paused for a second to look at the crowed, then let his gaze fall back on his notes. "The Guardian eggs, the eggs that hold our beloved protectors, are missing.." Several gasps and whispers erupted through the crowd. The man held his hands up to silence the crowd. "There's no need to panic everyone. The Kingdoms are doing everything they can to find the eggs and place them in their holders before the time comes for them to hatch." He ensured them.

"How can we help?" A person from the crowed asked.

"You can help by searching for the eggs. The more help we get, the faster the Guardian eggs are found. There will also be a reward for whoever finds the eggs or gives us information that leads us to the eggs." He told them all. "So if you have spotted anything that resembles one of the eggs, let a royal guard know." He looked the crowed over once more before continuing. "Any questions?"

Folami Laum watched a crowed gather in the center of the town. "What do you think is going on, Darnell?" She looked at the raccoon next to her.

Darnell shrugged as he climbed onto her shoulder. He pointed towards the crowd.

"Well, of course we're going to check it out." Folami told him as she made her way into the crowed. "Isn't that Gustaf, the Monarch human?" She asked the furry raccoon on her shoulder, not expecting an answer. She listened as several people started asking the man questions.

Jamima Sela giggled as she snuck up behind a hiding sugar glider. She tapped it with her green gloved hand while exclaiming "Found you, Ivana!"

Ivana, the sugar glider, covered her eyes, peeking now and then to see where the princess would hide.

"No peeking, missy!" Jamima said with her hands on her hips. After making sure the sugar glider wasn't looking, she hid behind some bushes.

Ivana went straight to her and jumped on her golden brown curly hair covered head.

"Did you peek?" Jamima asked with a pouty face, getting up from her hiding spot. After Ivana shook her head, she turned to Laros and asked "Mr.Laros, did she look where I was hiding?" Before he had a chance to answer she ran up to him and pulled on his arm "I have an idea! Do you want to play with us, Mr.Laros?" She asked as she straightened out her light green dress.

A small human boy dressed much like Legolas shuffled through the crowed, slowly making his way to the edge. He came to an abrupt stop when he ran into a wall of elves and humans separating him from escaping the crowed. After several failed attempts to push past them, he got on his hands and knees to crawl out. Once he finally made his escape, he started walking backwards, looking at the large crowed. "Boy am I glad to be out of there!" He sighed with relief. Since he wasn't looking where he was going, he ended up running into someone. He looked up at the person and smiled sheepishly. "I-I'm sorry.."

OOC: The next person that posts can say the boy ran into them.

Skywise got up.
Kiba growled at the boy.
"Easy, Kiba." Skywise said softly. Then he turned to the boy. "Don't mind Kiba, he's in one of his moods. "Name's Skywise. What's yours?"

Scyerro rolled her shoulders as a man's voice piped up into her hearing range. She spoke with a thick accent that could barely be understood unless you were well versed in that dialect.
"Hmm....som'n ha' stol'n the eggs? That cahn't be guut."

She shoved her way through the crowd, glaring at anyone who made a move to push her back.
After looking around at some of the people shuffling around, Scyerro raised her grayish hand.

"Oi! Ah'll halp wit' anyt'in dat you need. Ah offa' my services in any way."
With that, she smirked, and placed her other hand on her hip, lowering the raised one.

Laros looked down at Jamima, smiling warmly.
"Sure, mistress. I shall play with you, but we must be as quuiiiiiet as possible, okay?"
He smirked, and stood up, brushing off any grass and dirt that was on his pants, and nodded to the girl.

"Okay, time for you to hide, but stay very close, okay?"

OOC: Is it just me or does she sound like she's related to Hagrid from Harry Potter?

Celestine paced the halls, her dress billowing behind her, of the castle clearly distressed " of all the times for this to happen it had to happen now" before she heard her hawk Rosea screech as it landed on her shoulder

Grik listened from the back of the crowd. Mounted on his horse, he had an excellent view of the spectacle as the news was delivered. The eggs stolen?
He frowned and rubbed the stumbled on his chin. Bad news indeed. How could such a thing have even happened? Even as the news was being delivered, he noticed someone moving stealthily away from the crowd. Was there a reason? Grik sighed. He was already running a day late on his routine journey to Matierna. He wasn't a warrior after all, just an ambassador. But if fleeing person knew something.... He wheeled his horse around and began moving after the person, cutting behind the nearby buildings an an attempt to catch up.

OOC: Anyone who wishes to be the fleeing person may jump in.

Ruen, pearched ontop of a small building and watching Ambassador Girk closely (seeing as he was his gaurd), leaped off in persuit of the Ambassador and the fleeing person. He agiley leaped from building to car to ground with such ease, and fallowed with nothing more than a wisper of his cloak in the wind. As he caught up with the Ambassador, he gently leaped onto the back of the horse. "Are we going somewhere, Ambassador?" Ruen asked, his voice flat.

Elves with microphones and cars, eh? Somehow I think I've been picturing the kingdoms a little more...archaically. :dizzy:

IC:
Grik let out a startled laugh at the familiar voice suddenly close to his ear. "Ruen, I don't think I'll ever get used to your sneaking ways! But I'm glad you're here--it appears our journey back to Matierna might require a detour."
Grik pushed his horse for a bit more speed, rounding the corner into an adjacent alley.
"Did you get a look at the person who slipped out of the square early? I'm very curious to know where they were headed in such a hurry...."

"He was human, that much I know. He seemed to be in his late 30s. That is the extent of my knowlage." Ruen said, his voice still flat and emotionless.


OOC: Thankies!! I thought it might be too much though...

OOC: It kinda is. There aren't any cars or anything like that (except microphones XD). Think of a peasant village for reference.

IC: Folami yawned and looked up at the raccoon sitting comfortably on her shoulder. "What do you think, Darnell? Want to leave?" She asked.

The raccoon nodded and pointed away from the crowed as he returned her yawn.

"Good idea. This is getting boring." Folami made her way out of the crowed. She looked around at the people scattered around the village. "Drat.. Where'd he get off to?"

Darnell looked at her with an 'I told you so' face.

"I know, I know.. I shouldn't have let him out of my sight.. Do me a favor and go find him." She picked him up off of her shoulder and placed him on the ground.

Darnell sniffed the air a couple times, then took off down an alley.

Jamima smiled at Laros. "Yay! Thank you Mr.Laros!" She giggled as she ran to a hiding spot, taking Ivana with her, after he closed his eyes. She climbed up a tree and got comfortable on one of the branches high off the ground.

The boy looked at the growling wolf and backed away a little. His capuchin monkey climbed to his shoulder and started making mean noises at the wolf. "Woah there. Calm down Klem." The boy said to the monkey as he held its hand. He looked back to the man in front of him. "Just call me Archie. Nice to meet'cha, mister!" Archie smiled and then looked down at the wolf. He reached in the pouch he had around his shoulder and pulled out a piece of meat. He held it out to the wolf.

Kiba immediately snatched the meat happily. He began gnawing away.
"Well, you seem friendly enough." Skywise said. "So, what's got you in such a hurry, Archie?"

[Esoteric]

"You don't get excited easily, do you?" Grik chuckled as he pulled his horse to a stop. The street was narrow but empty. He wasn't sure which way the suspect had gone. He twisted his head in all directions, listening carefully for any sounds of movement. "Blast! We may have lost him...."

In a small tavern on the eastern said of the village square, Rosniroth carefully sipped the steaming tea in his porcelain cup. He examined the intricately painted designs on it. Must have taken hours for whoever made it. Such fools people were to waste hours painting plates and teacups. Just another idle luxury the world would soon be rid of...if everything went according to plan.
The Monarch had finished speaking. Roth found the people's reaction musing as they cackled and wandered around in circles like panicked chickens. With a smile, he set his teacup down neatly on its saucer. Oh, this would be fun.
Setting money on the table, he stood and lifted his black coat from the back of the chair. Putting it on, he paused for half a second, then grinned.
"I was beginning to get worried," he said with false concern. "But it looks like my furry friend has finally caught up." Roth didn't look at the raccoon well concealed under a table in the darkest corner of the room. He knew it was there just the same, glowering at him from a safe distance.
"To find me with all these people around...raccoons must have better noses than I thought. You deserve a reward..." He reached into his left coat pocket, his fingers pausing as they slid across his throwing daggers. No, it was too soon, he thought. He needed to keep them following for just a while longer. Moving past the knives, grabbed a few coins instead and cast them onto the ground. They clanked and rolled noisily toward the dark corner.
"For your diligence." He turned and walked to the door with a playful sneer. "After all, it will be the only profit you'll ever see from following me around." Rosniroth walked outside.

[Nami]

OOC: Hey guys, just FYI I am going to be playing the Queen of Gaiah ^^ :3 Here I GOOO!

IC: The sound of quick footfalls, that if the elf were human would have sounded like someone was stomping down the castle. The prince was in a fury, and no one was willing to get in his way, his gaze was filled with anger, hate and slight irony mixed in. It was all a bit much to take in, the whole fact that their Guardian along with the other kingdom's Guardians, had vanished.

Elarist's rippling clothes spread out behind him as he gusted down the long staircase at such a speed that anyone besides someone who was trained for speed would have tripped and fallen on their face at. The prince leapt the last few steps and lifted the bottom of his brown silken robe as he hurried toward the throneroom, he had to let this out on someone, it was only then that he actually heard his younger brother trying to reason with him.

"Please! Elarist, calm yourself, it won't do any good to stress Mother out anymore than she probably already is!" Jensu the younger of the princes pleaded.

"Go play with Jamima, Jensu." Elarist hissed bitterly, snapping his words like a whip against flesh. Jensu cringed at the harsh tone, but did not stop pursuing his brother, "please!" he begged again, this time grabbing Elarist's shoulder, "leave mother..."

Elarist yanked his shoulder away and bared his teeth in an animal-like snarl at Jensu, "Go play with Jamima!" he ordered this time. Jensu winced back, his strawberry colored eyes turning hurt, "as you say..." he turned and left his older brother swiftly. Once the older prince was alone he sighed and opened the doors to the throne-room.

"Mother?" he asked as he stepped in.

The Queen sat on her throne, staring off into space, her expression rather hard as she thought. Not even her son's voice broke her thoughts. Elarist stepped in quietly and walked to her side.

"Mother." he whispered and took her hand, Rajni didn't respond at first, but she finally smiled softly, "Elarist." she said, her breathe no more than a whisper against his pale hand. "We must be careful from now on... much more careful than we have been." she took his hand in hers as he nodded, "go find your sister... watch over her." Rajni kissed Elarist's forehead.

Elarist had lost all fight, seeing his mother in such a state disturbed him, and he complied without an argument. As soon as he stepped from the throne-room he felt his rage pile up and he stormed out after Jensu...

A few minutes before...

Jensu watched Jamima, and then smiled as he watched her play. His fingers absently went to his hair where he twirled the strawberry locks, his concern out-weighing his happiness.

Jensu walked slowly toward where the three were playing, he liked seeing Laros play with Jamima, it was funny to see.

It wasn't long before Elarist was outside and strolling rather like a storm-cloud toward Jensu, where he stopped and cross his arms.

[Hana Ryuuzaki]

Laros chuckled a bit, and looked around.
He already knew where the princess was, but he decided to play along.
"Oh, now, where is the dear mistress at? Wherever could she be?"

He was about to 'search' for her, when he saw the older prince storming towards the younger.
Tilting his head to the side, he debated whether or not to talk to Jensu, so he would be spared his brother's wrath....for Elarist looked like he could take on Areli himself with that kind of rage....

He waved a large tan hand at Jensu, deciding to spare the young one.
"Hello, master! How are we feeling today!"

Scyerro sneered at the crowd, and took a few steps back, bumping into a sky blue-haired woman.
"Oops. Sorry 'bout that."
She snorted at her, and placed her hands on her hips.

Celestine was worried she hadn't heard from her mother in 5 months and was worried "are you sure none has seen her" she said as a servant said" no milady she is no where to be found"

[Nami]

OOC: ...well I was gunna wait for Lil' Ninja... but here goes!

IC: Jensu smiled warmly, his finger still twirling his hair, "I'm am feeling well enough, thank you Laros, what about yourself?" he glanced up at Jamima in the tree and his smile widened a bit.

Elarist glanced at Jensu and huffed, brooding as he started to pace from Jensu to a random spot and back.

Fayth had heard the announcement from the Monarch and found it to be very disturbing, "Well... that's not good." she had muttered. After that she had wander off to the woods, her place of peace and solace from the world and it's crazy goings-on. Fayth sighed and leaned her head back against a tree, so much to think about, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to help find the Guardians... but they belonged to her world too. She ran a hand through her short blonde hair, disturbed. "Dang it." she mumbled.

The sound of snapping twigs alerted her to anothers presence, she jerked up into a sitting position, and then relaxed when she saw it was only her companion Scar. "Scar, you shouldn't sneak up on me like that"

"Why do you think I made noise?" Scare retorted, his lips moving in a strange sync with his voice. Fayth scowled and then resumed her previous position... ignoring the meaningful look Scar was giving her.

"You do need to help." he finally said, sitting down on his haunches next to her. Fayth glanced at him, "I know... I know.." she muttered. "Good, then you shouldn't have any problems." Scar grinned at her and Fayth rolled her eyes.

[Lil_Ninja]

Gustaf held his hands up to the crowed, stopping the rest of the questions. "That will be all for today folks. The best advice I can give you all is to not panic. That is the last thing we need." He nodded slightly and said "That is all." and then made his way off the platform. "Johnson, where is my bucket of chicken legs? I requested a bucket of chicken legs after my speech was finished!" He sighed dramatically.

"Here you go, mister Gustaf! I am dreadfully sorry for the wait, sir." The boy handed the large man a bucket of breaded chicken legs. "And sir.. Not that it is important or anything.. But, my name is Derov."

Gustaf snorted with a mouth full of chicken. "Same difference. Now, where is that lazy son of mine? He was suppose to bring me that steak ten minutes ago!" He sighed dramatically again. "What am I going to do with you people.." He walked away from the crowed and went into a bakery nearby.

Folami had her arms folded and her foot tapping as she waited for Darnell when she felt someone bump into her. "Oh, it's perfe-.." She paused when she saw the woman that stood behind her. The woman was a couple inches taller than herself with long silvery brown hair and lots of gray on. She gasped. "Queen Scyerro?" She asked as she bowed slightly. "Oh, uh.. I'm pleased to inform you that the hunt for Rosniroth goes well. Darnell is following him as we speak!"

Darnell hissed at Rosniroth when he tossed the coins to him. He watched him make his way out the door and then dashed for the closing door, making it out before it fully closed. He scurried up a tree and jumped onto a roof, then started after Roth. He stayed close enough to Roth so he wouldn't lose sight of him and he wouldn't be spotted so easily. This job was beginning to get boring for the raccoon.

Jamima giggled at Laros, marveling at her 'amazing' ability to play hide and seek. Her giggling stopped when she spotted her older brother Elarist storming towards Laros and her other older brother Jenu. He was mad, and everyone knew it. He looked like he was about to beat up the first person he saw. She jumped out of the tree with Ivana comfortably on her shoulder and ran to Elarist. "Brother, what is troubling you?" She asked in a quick, soft tone as she tugged on his sleeve. She didn't give him a chance to reply before speaking again. "Is it the recent incident with the guardian eggs? If so, do not be troubled. I am sure they will find them in to time! The royal guards are very nice and good at finding lost things. One found my green shoe I had been looking for last week!" She smiled sweetly up at Elarist. Not waiting for him to reply, she continued to talk. "Brothers, did you come to play hide and seek with Laros, Ivana and I?" She asked, glancing back and forward happily from Elarist to Jensu.

Archie turned to look at the man on the platform and then looked back at Skywise. "Oh! The steak! I am very sorry sir, I have to go buy something for my father and I'm already late!" He looked around for a meat store. Once he spotted it, he turned back to the man and his wolf. "If you want to accompany me though, you are welcome to. I'll give your wolf some more food."

Kaden Ezekiel walked down a dark alley with his small black wolf Faolan right at his side. Half way down the alley, Faolan started getting edgy and began growling and barking at the roof. When Kaden looked up, he saw a raccoon running on the rooftops as if it was following something. "That's interesting.." He looked down at his wolf and then back up at the raccoon. He started following it as it quickened its pace, his eyes fixed on the furry creature. Before he could stop, he ran right into a man with black hair. They both fell at impact. Kaden quickly got to his feet and extended a black gloved hand to the man. "Oh, I am very sorry, sir! I was in pursuit of a raccoon and I guess I wasn't looking where I was going."

OOC: Shao, Kaden ran into Meshullam

The man came to an abrupt stop. He went down the wrong path. "Oh junk.. A dead end.." He glanced behind, looking for the two men on the horse that have been chasing him. He started climbing the stone wall but he wasn't quick enough. Before he knew it, they were right behind him. He slipped off the wall and landed in a pile of hay.

[Shao Feng-Li]

Meshullam took the boy's hand and pulled himself up, brushing off his clothes. "Fine, fine," he said, "Don't worry yourself. Where might you be headed? Being in the alley and all."

[Nami]

Elarist looked down at Jamima and sighed, he stopped his pacing and bent down to her level, his dark hair drifted over his shoulder as he crouched in front of her. "I do not believe the guards should be left to do this on their own..." he paused and placed his right hand on her head. "I am thinking about heading out to help anyone who wants to help, find the eggs..."

Elarist stood again and looked at Jensu who was smiling at Jamima, "I would love to play hide and go seek with you." Jensu said reaching out to pet Ivana. Elarist sighed, "I am going to go inside, I have something to do." he brushed Jamima's head with his fingertips and then nodded to Laros before going back inside.

Jensu sighed and smiled at Laros and Jamima, "shall we play then?"

[Esoteric]

Grik whirled his head at the sound and saw the suspicious man they had been hunting, now foundering in a hay mound behind them. "Ruen, quick, grab him!" he yelled.

Rosniroth slipped silently through the throng of peasants in the square. His contact was supposed to be here somewhere, and he wanted to get his business taken care of before the spectacle soon to begin. Roth grinned smugly. Those bounty hunters had walked into the trap. Yes, this would be a good test of strength....
Roth turned onto an empty side street and a screech from overhead stopped him. He looked up and saw Nierth perked on a chimney, the white osprey's talons sunk deep into the plaster to support its heavy weight. Wings spread, its neck was arched low, pointing west across the square.
"Do you see them, Nierth?" he asked. The osprey chirped softly, not taking its eyes off the west. "Good, come..." He raised a beckoning arm and the great bird swooped down gracefully, landing on his shoulder.
"Are you hungry, Nierth?" The osprey chirped again. "Well then," he answered softly, "I know of a nearby raccoon who may soon be masterless." Chuckling, Rosinroth continued walking down the alley, in search of his contact.

[Hana Ryuuzaki]

Scyerro covered Folami's mouth quickly, looking around to see if anyone heard her. Thankfully, no one did.
"Wha' hav' ah told ye? Dun cah'll me by tha' in public!!"

She grimaced as she removed her hands from the other woman's mouth, wiping them on her tunic.
"And tha's guut. Anyt'in else ta' repor'?"

Laros bowed to Elarist, bowing his head also.
"Good luck and godspeed on that, Master Elarist."

He turned, and bowed to Jensu also, smiling.
"Okay, then....."
He chuckled at Jamima, tucking his violet-coloured hair behind his ear.
"What would the Mistress and Master like to play?"

Ruen lept off the horse with unnatural ease and with a few rapid strides, caught the man they were chasing, holding him a foot off the ground. "Why did you run?" Ruen asked, the same flat tone in his voice.

"Well, I guess we can talk on the way. But you don't need to feed Kiba all the time to gain his trust. If I trust you, then he often feels he can as well. And you haven't given me a reason not to trust you yet." said Skywise. He hated the fact that he wasn't a high-ranking elf. Something big was going on, he was almost certain of it.
"So, tell me, is there something earth-shattering that I should know about?" he asked.

[Song_of_Storms]

Kukka slid his hand down Chaos' neck, his thoughts adrift because of the current situation. Glancing down at his Hyena, Kukka tugged on the silver, thin chain around his neck, taking him away from the crowds. Kukka didn't truly grasp the importance of the eggs having been stolen. If it didn't effect his everyday life, why bother?

Walking steadily down the street, Chaos took a sudden turn to the left, fully aware of their destination. -and well he should. Thought Kukka to himself as he followed. We've been selling our olives here for a while now. Chaos and I have the way memorized by heart, it seems.

Kukka pressed his grimy-clothed hand against a battered, weathered door.

OOC: The "car" was a typo. It was supposed to be cart, but my "t" gliched and I didnt catch it. Sorry. :)

Folami covered her mouth, embarrassed. "Oh, I am dreadfully sorry ma'am. It slipped my mind.." She told the woman in front of her. "Well, it seems he is on some sort of buisness here. We are not quite sure what yet.. But as soon as we figure it out, we shall let you know, ma'am." She smiled. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your buisness in town?"

Darnell easilly followed Roth through the townspeople. He stopped behind a cart to avoid beeing seen by the large osprey. He knew that osprey, if hungry, had a good chance of killing him. He hissed when he heard words about him soon being masterless. Folami was an amazing bounty hunter. She had fought guys twice Roth's size, and won of course. She was deffinetly not going to lose to this guy. Darnell snuck up to Roth, staying low to the ground, hiding behind buckets and stacks of wood that had been placed near a wall. He froze when the osprey flew onto the man's shoulder. Oh, great.. he thought.

Jamima watched Elarist walk away, then turned her head to Jensu with a big smile on. "Hide and seek?" She looked from Jensu, to Laros, then back. "I'm good at that game!" She giggled a little, then ran up to Laros. "You're it! You seek. Me, Ivana and brother will hide." She poked him and turned her head to Jensu, whispering loudly, "He's not good at seeking." She giggled again. Once Laros had his eyes shut, she hid behind a large row of bushes next to the stone wall that surrounded them.

Archie smiled and began to walk to the meat shop. "Oh, alright then." He said, tucking some black wavey strands of hair behind his ear. "Earth shattering? Well.." he scrunched his nose up as he thought. "Legend says that if the guardian eggs do not hatch on time, all of the lands begin to crumble because of the guardians not there to fix it. You see, they are the ones that balance the whole land, and without them, everythign it out of whack." He looked back at Skywise, then turned his head back in front of him. "Nobody but the great Areli knows the truth though. There are no records of this ever happening, but the great Areli has been around long enough to know." He opened the shop door for Skywise and Kiba, motioning his hand for them to go first.

Kaden shrugged as he brushed off his black pants. "Oh, I'm just exploring. I've never been to the Kingdoms before." He looked up at the man. "What are you doing in the alley?" He asked. Hopefully this guy's not a chatter.. He thought. I'm suppose to meet that guy soon.. He paused in thought for a second. Uh.. Where were we going to meet again?..

The man panicked when Ruen picked him up. "W-well, if someone was chasing you on a horse, wouldn't you run?!" He glanced nervously at the man on the horse. "I uh.. I was just late for work so I-I rushed off.. Then you start chasing me like I'm, like I'm some sort of c-criminal!" He folded his arms. "Does that explain well enough?"

"It's a shorter way to my estate," Meshullam replied. "There is rarely anything interesting in a clean alley way. I don't believe you're being totally honest with me, but be on your way," he said, and walked around Kaden towards the other end of the alley.

Grik slid off his horse and strode toward them, hands clasped behind his back. "Late for work is it? Tsk, tsk ...and on a day such as this!" Grik sighed, watching the man's reactions closely. "You must have a very demanding boss, if you're more concerned with him than such terrible news. Wouldn't you agree, Ruen?" he mused playfully.

Rosniroth wove his way through the empty alleys to the north end of town. A parapet rimmed the low stone wall near the village's northern gates. A few sentries strode lazily in their courses along it, but Roth was unconcerned with their presence. Climbing the short stairway, he stood on the parapet, facing the village.
A slight breeze rustled the flaps of his black coat. The white osprey perched over him with a leg on either shoulder and wings spread around his neck as was its habit. From the parapet they could see most of a village's rooftops. Yes, this would be the best place to watch from. Kaden would surely find him here. Kaden Ezekiel. A man who couldn't be less and more like him. They'd met only once before, and briefly, when their professions had thrown them on a common path. Even so, he could never forget a man which such unbound fire burning behind his eyes. Well, he would soon see those eyes again, and soon after the fun would start...

IC: Jensu smiled broadly at what Jamima whispered, he chuckled and then very lightly, ran to a tree nearby that was one of the largest trees in the gardens, he hopped up onto one of the limbs quietly and then climbed halfway up and huddled himself, trying not to be seen. He couldn't help a small flit of laughter as he watched Laros and Jamima from his height.

Fayth was resigned already, Scar was taking her into the town and she had no say over it. "Why do I have to ride on your back?" she said gripping his fur gently, "Well, I knew if you didn't you might try and back out." Scar chuckled when Fayth kicked him lightly in the sides.

"I am not a coward Scar." Fayth said, glaring down at the over-sized wolf. Scar nodded, "This I know, but this Egg should be just as important to you as to the elves, the Guardians keep things in balance." Fayth looked away from the wolf one of her blonde eyebrows twitching with annoyance, "there you go again, acting like you are a pragmatist." she muttered. A deep rumbling chuckle escaped Scar which made her jostle on his back, she rolled her eyes, she found nothing funny about this situation.

Scar walked into the town, he sniffed the air lightly, "ooh, smells good." he said glancing up at Fayth, "can we stop for some food?"

Fayth sighed, "if you wish Scar." she slipped from his back and landed on the ground, much like someone who would be dismounting a horse would land. "I don't think they allow Wolves though..." she glanced at him, 'Especially over-sized ones...' she thought skeptically.

"Yes, I know, so I will wait out here and you can bring me some food alright?" he grinned, showing off his almost perfectly white and pointed teeth. "Yes, yes, just don't smile like that! You will give someone a heart-attack." Fayth said playfully smacking his forehead. Scar nodded and took a place outside the building, lying down to the side of the stairs.

Fayth blew air up at her bangs, "geez." she gritted her teeth and walked up to the door, opening it hesitantly...

"I do indeed, Ambassador." Ruen said, putting the man on his feet. Ruen looked at Girk, a hint of a smirk on his face. "What shall we do with a man who runs from someone such as the Ambassador?" Ruen asked, a shadow of a chuckle in his voice.

Grik shrugged. "Well, there's only one thing we can do. We must help him out!" He grinned shrewdly at the small, sweating man. "We'll accompany you to your place of work, and if your story checks out, we'll kindly explain things to your boss." Grik's face quickly turned hard. "But if it turns out you're lying, well...let's just say my associate here will is very good at using pain to encourage truthful answers."

"You flatter me, sir." Ruen said, a full blown smile spreading across his face, making the man squirm with unease. This was the first emotion Ruen had shown in a long time. It felt good to have a change in his normaly uneventful mood.

Near the western gates, the guard of Gaiah were continuing their investigation. The crown was of the upmost importance in their security and they could let nothing and no one slip by without thorough inspection.

A dark haired sentrie approached Laevana, the captain of Gaiah's guard.
"We've news Captain. Some shady characters have been spotted sneaking about town. One of them is being held at bay, but there was only one report on the other. Seems to be a large osprey hovering about, though no one could see the man it was around."
He bowed as he reported his find to the woman who stood cloaked before him.
"Good work, Fellion." She placed a hand on his shoulder in thanks as he told her their last locations.

Without any further ado Laevana took off out of the tavern where she had chosen to meet the town soldiers. Her own men where out on the job as well, and she guessed that the information brought to her had come from them. She smiled to herself.
Shady characters...I wonder.. She thought as she made her way to the north gate.
The soldier had told her something about an osprey, which was indeed odd. The sound of swift wings met her ears and she didn't even look up to see Kael land on her shoulder.
"Did you see him, boy?" She whispered.
The hawk rubbed his beak against her neck, it was the way she'd taught him to say yes. So no one could suspect what may be said between them. She tried not to grin to widely behind her cloak. This would indeed, get interesting.

[Nami]

OOC: Woooah! Hold the phone! This is all happening in Gaiah? I thought it was just a village that has mingled people in it? Or are you just saying they are in that village investigating?

IC: Elarist threw on his dark cloak, he had already changed into more dreary and folky attire, he couldn't take the chance of anyone knowing who he was. Elarist was very good at this disguise, he didn't really need the cloak anymore, not even his own brother knew who he was in this get up.

Elarist looked in the mirror and nodded with satisfaction, then he slipped from his room and hurried down the steps to one of the servants doors. He opened it and slid through, he made his way to the outer-wall that surrounded the castle, and then opened the door. It lead out to the woods, not many of the servants used this exit. With a rush of excitement Elarist took off at full stride into the woods, intent on getting to that village before tomorrow mornings dawn.

Laros bowed again to the royalty standing before him, and turned around, leaning his tall frame against the tree.
"One.........two.........three......four......"

Kukka led Chaos into the dusty old inn. The inn keeper and his wife were at their usual places, behind the counter. They were to absorbed in their chatter with a customer to notice Kukka or his pet.

Bending onto one knee, Kukka unfastened the belt that held two medium, leather bags on Chaos. Giving his pet a quick pat on the head, he made his way to the counter. Dropping his haul, he couldn't help but overhear their flustered talk:

"-What is everyone going to do without the Guardians?!"
"I don't even want to think about it..."
"What kind of scum would do such a thing?! Wouldn't they be ill effected just like the rest of us?!"

Kukka glared at them, slamming his boot into the wooden floor.

"Those cursed Guardians aren't as holy as everyone makes out. We're better off without them. Nothing is going to happen, with or without them!!"

The chatter between the innkeeper and customer halted, all eyes fixed on Kukka. Embarrassed, he turned his view away.

Why did I have to make such an outburst? I should just keep my mouth shut.

Before anyone could give their protests, Kukka was making his way to the exit, Chaos at his heels. Without turning around, he mumbled under his breathe.

"...I'll pick up my pay tomorrow."

With that, he made his way into the street, feeling like a fool.

IC: Darnell watched as Roth made his way to the parapet and climbed on it. He saw that he was looking for someone in the crowed, so he figured he would stay there for a while. He dashed off to Folami to tell her Roth's location and in no time, he got to her.

Folami blushed a little. "I understand. That slipped my mind for a moment. Sorry, ma'am." She always disliked talking to royalty. It made her so nervous and she always ended up saying something stupid. When her ears caught the sound of Darnell coming, she turned to look for him.

Darnell weaved through the crowed to Folami. He stopped in front of her and started making signals with his hands, telling her what happened.

"An osprey, huh?" Folami thought for a moment. "I saw an osprey fly overhead a couple minutes ago. Where are they now?"

Darnell pointed and started moving towards the location, but stopped to look back at her, telling her to follow.

"Oh, uh," She turned to Queen Scyerro. "I have to go watch Roth now, Mi'lady. Excuse me." She bowed a little and then took off down the alley towards Roth, following Darnell.

Jamima studied the wall she was next to and saw a hole further down. "That's odd.." She whispered as she moved down towards it. She saw that it went to the other side were the forest was. "I guess nobody saw it because of the big bush in front of it, right Ivana?" Her eye caught something colorful shimmer in the water. From where she was she couldn't see her brother in the tree, but she could slightly see Laros through bottom of the bush. "I'm sure they wont mind. I'll be back as soon as I see what's in the water." She whispered to Ivana as she crawled out of the hole and ran to the stream a good distance away. She made sure to stay out of Jensu's vision so she wouldn't get in trouble. Once she finally got there, she looked down at the water. There was something in there.. Holding the shiny rock.. But what was it? After some contemplation, she reached towards it.

Archie sighed. "Yeah, it's bad alright.." He looked back at Skywise and shrugged as he made his way to the counter. "Besides looking for them and keeping an eye out for suspicious act, I have no idea how you can help." He told the person behind the counter what he wanted. "Maybe you could ask a guard?" He suggested as he paid the person and took the meat. He looked at the can in Skywise's hand and shrugged. "Maybe he will. He is a wolf after all and they love food." He put the meat in his pouch bag. "I have to deliver this to my father now. Would you and your wolf like to accompany me?"

Kaden nodded to the man in farewell. "Good day." He turned to his black wolf. "Do you remember where that guy said to meet?"

Faolan sighed and nodded. She often got frustrated when her master relied on her to remember important details. The small wolf led the way through the town. When she got close to Roth, she started wagging her tail. She ran up to him and started jumping up and barking at the osprey on his shoulders.

Kaden ran up and pulled Faolan back. "I am so sorry! She usually doesn't act like this!" He glared down at her, making her shrink back a little. Kaden extended his hand to Roth. "The name's Kaden."

The man started panicking. "T-t-torture?" His eyes widened as he started sweating even more. "L-look, I had nothing to do with it!" He looked back and forward from the two men. "I didn't know that was one of the eggs!" He begun crying.

"Well, well..." Grik squinted at the man. "You've peaked our interest. Don't stop now, tell us about this egg. Where is it?"

The osprey blinked and chirped a few times at the wolf. Rosniroth shrugged and smiled. "If Nierth doesn't mind, neither do I," he commented, extending his hand to the man named Kaden. "Rosniroth," he said, clasping it. "I'm glad you made it here before the fun starts. Meeting would have been difficult otherwise."

[Nami]

OOC: Okay Sakura ^^; I just wasn't sure ahhahah.
Okay Rock, XD She's getting food for Kiba now, I would have had her bring him inside, but... it didn't seem fair because she left Scar outside. ^^;

IC: Scar opened one eye as Kukka came down the street, he had heard him from the Tavern down the road a few buildings from the tavern he was lying in front of. "The Guardians are useful boy, but we all have our own opinions... that's what makes us free." Scar watched Kukka wondering what the boy would do.

Elarist could see the sun setting in the distance, as he broke away from the protective forest that surrounded the valley in Gaiah, "Not much longer to go." he whispered.

Fayth had glanced over her shoulder at Kiba as she had been heading into the tavern, "Hey... No whining, I'll get you something okay?" she smiled and then turned and went inside.

Fayth took a seat at the bar, feeling rather awkward in this Tavern, she didn't like being surrounded by so many people at once, it made her edgy. "Well now what can I geet fer ye?" the tavern master seemed to have a thick accent of sorts, Fayth couldn't place it. "Um, two medium rare steaks, with a bottle of red wine, and half a loaf of bread." she said, watching the Tavern masters eyes widen as she spoke, he didn't comment on her choice of food, but she was sure she saw him eye her skinny body, probably wondering how she would fit it all.

Fayth chuckled to herself, Scar would love to hear that one later. But something else was bothering Fayth, she hadn't seen Elrion for a good two days, she wondered if he had finally gotten caught...

Then the tavern master brought her the food, and she put the money on the counter, "Thanks very much." she grinned and took the plates, the bottle and the half a loaf of bread and headed outside. "Here we go.." she paused noticing that Scar was attempting to talk to someone so she went over to Kiba, "hey, you hungry?" she set one of the plates down in front of him, and broke the bread in half, putting that half on Kiba's plate. "There you go."

Jensu indeed hadn't noticed, he was to busy watching Laros from his spot, but when he turned to check on Jamima.. she wasn't there. He cocked his head, 'She probably found another place..' he wasn't worried at the time, because he knew that little kids liked to move around a lot when they were playing hide and go seek.

Laevana slowed as she came upon the northern gate, she spotted the darkly clothed figure and his osprey. There was another man up there as well, she could just barely see their faces, even elven eyes weren't completely perfect.

"Let's see what they are up to, shall we?" She whispered to Kael as she moved swiftly and silently closer to the men. Once she was sure they would have no chance of seeing her she slowly climbed the ladder that led to the parapet, from hear she could hear their voices clearly. And she waited.

"Ambassador, I think we should move out of this area. I hear people approching." Ruen said, the smile vanishing from his face. He herded the man over to the horse and threw him on, tying him to the back of the saddle. "Please Ambassador, hurry. They have weapons and I dont know their intent. I will follow by rooftop." Ruen said, ushering the Ambassador onto the horse.

"Yes, I am forgetting myself," Grik replied hastily as Ruen boosted him onto his horse. "It's still a good three days ride to Matierna--we can question him on the way." Grik turned his horse, but hesitated as the sound of footsteps echoed in the maze of alleys. He couldn't tell which way they were coming from. "Which way do we go?" he asked.

"Straight ahead and to the left. Please hurry." Ruen said, jumping effortlessly up to the rooftops.

Scyerro nodded at the girl. "Yah yah, it's fine. Jus' keep meh low profi' as dey say."
She watched as Folami and the raccoon communicated. She thought it was simply fascinating how they could understand each other. It was an animal after all. When Folami excused herself she quickly nodded to the girl.
"Mm, go cap'sha tha' 'orrible Rath man!"
She watched the girl leave with her raccoon. Scyerro headed down an alley to see if there was anything suspicious going on. There's usually suspicious acts in alleys, right? She saw a finely dressed man walking further down the alley.
'Hmm.. He seems ah suspicious cha'racta' eno'.' She thought as she approached him. "Oi you! Wha're you doin' in tha' dark alley?" She called after him.

OOC: Shao, she's talking to your character.

Laros uncovered his eyes and called out.
"Ready or not, masters, here I come!"
He searched silly areas like under rocks or in the flower beds when he already saw where the princess and the prince were.
He said things all the time like "Masters, where are you hiding?" and "Come out, come out wherever you are, masters! I'm going to find you!". He looked everywhere in the princess' area but where she was hiding. He finally stood next to the large bush that he thought was concealing her as he scratched his head.
"Oh no, I cannot seem to find the princess! She is such a marvelous hider, I do not think I will ever be able to find her!"
He made a big smile as he peered over the large bush, but he didn't see the princess. Instead, he saw a small hole in the wall.

Gasping, Laros rushed around the bush to peer out the small hole. He could hardly see the princess' fleeting figure between the trees. He quickly rose to his feet and ran to the foot of a large tree.
"Master, the princess is gone! She-" He was about to tell her position when he realized the opportunity that had arose.
"Um, Mistress must have crawled out a hole somewhere along the wall!"
'This is it! Here's my chance! All I have to do is get to the princess before the prince and the guards. No sweat!'
"We must alert the guards immediately! I'll start the search!"
Without another word, Laros quickly made his way out to the forest in the direction of the princess.
'This will be easier than I thought.' He muffled a laugh.

IC: Folami followed Darnell through the winding alleys until they finally were in sight of the parapet. She could see two men with their creatures. One being Rosniroth. One had long blue hair in a pony tail with nice clothing and the other had short brown messy spiky hair with more of punk clothing. The most noticeable thing about the second guy was a black tattoo of fire on his left arm. She made note of the animals with them. Perched on Roth must have been the osprey Darnell saw and next to the unknown man was a young black wolf. She swiftly made her way to the side of them while staying out of sight. She stopped behind a large hay wagon close to the men and peeked around the side to get a better look at the two and try to listen in on their conversation.

When Darnell looked around the wagon, he noticed a girl with a bird listening in on the two. He pointed her out to Folami.

Folami nodded and kept quiet. She made a note in her mind to talk to the girl after the two men left. Whatever reason she was eavesdropping, Folami had to know.

As Jamima touched the surface of the water, a watery figure burst out of the stream. As it went up into the air, she could see right through its body, like it was made of liquid, but as soon as it landed on a rock protruding out of the water, it took its texture. The creature's body manifested a bumpy and jagged skin, blending perfectly with the rock it was on. In the creature's hands was a large brilliant colorful rock type object.

Jamima's eyes fixed onto the object in the monsters hands. It was beautiful. With every movement, different colors faintly illuminated its texture. She reached for it, longing to touch its surface. As she got closer, she could feel heat radiating from the rock like it was alive. That's odd.. The girl thought. Rocks aren't suppose to do that..Hmm.. Maybe it's not a rock? She studied the thing in the monsters hands.

When she got a little closer, the small monster got spooked and jumped on to land, its texture changing once again to fit its surroundings. It took off through the forest, zig zaging through trees and jumping over obsticles.

The princess kept up with the creature quite well. She followed it with much effert, dodging tree limbs and jumping over fallen trees.

Finally, the creature reached a dead end. Around him were several large piles of wood. People must have been lumberjacking or something and left for a break, leaving most of their equipment. The creature quickly set the shiney rock down, grabbed an ax and spun around to face Jamima. It moved to her side so she would have no where to run. It backed her into the pile of chopped wood.

Jamima panicked. "So.. That must be a guardian egg! That's why you ran!" She said weakly as she drew her dagger. "Well, I won't let you endanger our beloved guardians!" She said with a cracking voice. She was terrified.

OOC: Uh oh Laros! You better save her quick! O_O

Archie nodded and walked ahead of Kiba and Skywise. "It's just around the corner." He informed. "So, are you new here? I don't recall seeing your face around the town, and I know most people here." He poked Skywise as they made their way past a couple shops.

Kaden laughed. "Indeed it would." He paused for a moment, sensing someone listening in. He decided to ignore the feeling when he didn't see anyone near. "Have you located the creatures yet?"

Faolan's ears perked up at a small creaking noise she heard on the ladder. She could smell someone near, probably eavesdropping. Looking up at her oblivious owner, she nudged his hand with her muzzle, alerting him of the unwelcome presence near.

Kaden looked down at the wolf and nodded, letting her know he got it. He looked back up at Rosniroth. "Those.. Monkeys are hard to find in these parts." He made subtle movements to communicate with Roth, something he learned from a spy some years ago. ["Someone's listening in. Play along and don't give any useful information."] "I still can't believe they escaped from the shipping crates! That just proves you can never trust shipping companies with handling their shipment carefully!" He studied Roth's expression to see if he got his message.

OOC: Just to clarify, Kaden was using something similar to sign language to communicate the real message to Roth, except it was hardly noticeable. Every time he uses it to talk, the words will be in this: [" "]

The man started to panick as he was thrown on to the horse and tied to the sattle. "Wai- What is going on? Where are you taking me?!" He asked in a high pitched voice. "Listen, I'll tell you everything, just don't hurt me!" He exclaimed.

Laevana muttered under her breath, she really hated being out in the open like this. She heard someone move behind the hay wagon, and made sure to keep her ears out for anymore movement from there.

One of the men was now talking about shipping crates and people escaping, something was up, and she knew it. But she didn't know if they had discovered her precense..or perhaps the precense of another. Whatever the case, she should act now. Glancing at Kael she whispered as low as only Elves can. "Are you ready, boy? You can fly up and distract them, then I'll make my move." Kael bobbed his head twice, then flew up right in front of the two men, making sure not to get too close to them, in case they tried to harm him.

[Nami]

Fayth watched Scar and then stood, "Hey Scar, who's your friend?" she asked as she glanced at Kukka. Scar shrugged, "a boy." he said standing, "did you bring my food?" he asked grinning when Fayth scowled, "yes." she placed the food on the ground and Scar whined thankfully and ate.

Jensu was on his feet in an instant, it was only a second after Laros had scrambled off, Jensu hesitated, should he really alert the Guard? It was after all his sister, she probably wasn't far from the wall and would come back with Laros, all the same Jensu jogged off and gave them the warning, they all agreed to keep an eye open for her.

Jensu trotted off to see if he could find Laros and Jamima, he didn't want anything to happen to her.

Elarist had finally reached the town and sighed deeply, "I made it even before the sun set." he smirked, he was quite proud of himself. "Now to find out what the word is on the Guardian eggs."

Rosniroth smiled. "You're absolutely right, and every street urchin who stumbles across one surely will try and steal it for a profit. But I think we're in luck. Nierth tells me three of them are close by...[I]very close by."
A deep and distant sound liking rumbling suddenly reached their ears. Roth turned his gaze to the west as the noise grew louder, vibrating in the stone beneath their feet. "Ah, there they are now..."

Folami narrowed her eyes when the lady's bird flew up at the two men, giving away that someone was listening in. Just then, she felt rumbling, like large footsteps approaching. She stood up, still concealed by the wagon, and looked over the wall into the field. There she saw three tall hulking rock monsters. "Oh junk.." She whispered under her breath as she drew her bow and got ready to fight.

Darnell scurried up onto Folami's shoulder to see the new creatures. He narrowed his eyes and growled quietly at the foreign creatures.

Archie grinned widley. "A mermaid?! Oh cool! I've always wanted to see one of those.. But my dad said I couldn't go to the distant land of Wiorene. But that's OK!" He exclaimed hyperly and in an annoyingly high pitch. His gaze fell upon the glowing rock around Skywise's neck. "Hey, hey! What's that rock??" He asked, poking the rock a couple times.

OOC: Yeah, sorry for the sudden attitude change. I forgot I was going to make him an annoying character XD

Kaden raised his eyebrow as he watched the bird fly up. "Oh really?" He asked glancing down, suddenly feeling the shaking in the stones. ["I'm going to play it like I never knew about the real creatures and I just met you to help you gather monkeys up, alright? Just remember what we came for and don't overdo it."] He motioned as he slowly turned his head towards the large monsters. "Th-those aren't monkeys!" He exclaimed as he drew his long samurai sword, his eyes getting wider with every word. "What you trying to pull here, Roth?!" He asked, confusion in his voice.

Faolan growled and barked at the creatures approaching the town quickly.

"Oh, that's a lodestone. It's magnetic. There must be some crazy magnetic stuff going on that's making it glow like that. It's nothing to worry about. Unless you're made of metal." said Skywise.

Rosniroth let out a short peel of laughter. "My, what astute eyes you have!" he exclaimed in amusement. [As you wish. Perhaps you can even draw them off my trail.] He cast a quick glance over his shoulder. "But I assure you they're as playful as monkeys." The smile persisted, but his eyes narrowed as he looked back at Kaden. "Come now, don't tell me you're getting cold feet. I thought we had an arrangement..." Casually, he slipped his hands inside his coat where they gently rested on his concealed chain and knives, ready to use them in an instant. With a menacing screech, Nierth spread his wings and arched his feather's back, preparing to spring at the hawk suddenly swooping around them.
The three rock monsters shook the ground solidly as they marched up to the low parapet surrounding the town. With a deep moaning howl, they raised their stone covered fists and smashed them against the wall. Nearby villagers screamed and fled as they broke through and began lumbering over the rubble into the town.

Ruen brough his fingers to his lips and whistled through them, calling his Xing to him. the snake flew up to him and flitted around, sensing Ru's tention. "Xing, follow Girk and make sure he is safe." he told her. she tasted the air and then shot off in the direction of the Ambassador

Folami grabbed Darnell and started running back towards the center of town where some guards were posted. "Listen, we need to get all of the villagers towards the back of the town!" She said through gasps.

"Lady, what makes you think we take orders from villa-" The guard stopped talking when he caught sight of the large creatures she was pointing at. "Y-yeah! Right, the villagers!" They quickly got to the crowed of people and started ushering them to the back of the town and in the direction of Gaiah, away from the large monsters.

Folami ran back towards the monsters, loaded her bow, and shot one of the rock creatures right between the eyes, which made it quite angry.

It started throwing large boulders in her direction, which she avoided.

Archie laughed a bit. "Nope! No metal people running around here!" He informed Skywise. They finally reached the bakery his father was in. "Okay, here's what'll happen, elf dude. You stay here, I'll deliver the food, then we leave." He told him, then dashed into the bakery. In no time, he spotted Gustaf sitting at a table with a couple pastries and two half eaten pies left in front of him. "Hey, hey, father, I have the steak you wanted!" The boy exclaimed as he ran up to the large mans table. Archie reached into his side bag and pulled out a thick steak, and set it on the table.

"It's about dang darn time! I was getting hungry!" Gustaf said between mouth fulls. He grabbed the steak and set it on a plate in front of himself and began devouring it, but paused to say, "you should go look for those guardian eggs. It'll do you good to actually do something helpful for once!"

"Yes sir.." Archie mumbled as he made his way out of the store. "So, what do you say we help look for some eggs? I thiiiink they need some extra help in the mountain area. So, whatcha say? Will you help? Will you, will you?! Plleeaase? I don't want to look all by my lonesome.. I could get..Like, uh.. Kidnapped!" He did the best puppy dog eyes he possible could at Skywise.

["I'll draw them off both of our tails."] Kaden's expression grew angry, yet more frightened at the same time. ["I'll distract them as much as I can in town. Go to the second monsters location in the mountains of Matierna and retrieve the egg."] "Look man, you never said anything about some gigantic monsters when we met the other day! Our agreement was about gathering up some stupid monkeys!" He exclaimed with lots of dramatic motions to the large monsters and what a normal sized monkey would be. "Bottom line, you lied and I am NOT helping you with illegal activities!" He yelled to Roth as he jumped off the wall, landing perfectly in a crouching position.

Faolan jumped and landed next to her master.

Kaden did a couple hand signals to Faolan, which she replied to with a nod.
She took of towards nearby villagers, herding them away from the monsters that just broke through the wall. Meanwhile, Kaden prepared fore battle.

He watched as the elf girl shot the rock monster at the front and it start throwing boulders at her.
He ran towards the monster and threw his sword in its back, then jumped and grabbed the sword, pulling it out and flipping up onto its shoulders.

The monster roared and started hitting itself with its large rock hands, trying to get Kaden off.

OOC: Feel free to control the monsters (if it's alright with Esoteric, that is), just don't kill them too quick ^^

OOC: Yeah, people, you can jump in with the monsters! Looks like one is spoken for, but the other two are going to wreak havoc unless they are stopped. Muahahahaha!

"Coward!" Rosniroth sneered. [On my way. Just don't have too much fun and forget your own mission]. "I can't waste anymore time on you!" Nierth shot into the air as Roth retreated over the wall into the woods outside the village.

The two remaining monsters slowly moved further into town, angrily smashing carts and parts of buildings as they went.

Loud pounding noises echoed through the alleyways as Grik rode. "What is going on?!" he muttered, breaking to the left and heading for the outskirts of town. Rounding another corner, the eastern gate suddenly came into view. Looks like Ruen's directions were right. The guards there were scrambling however, and as he reached the gate he stopped his horse and looked back. In shock, he saw the heads of three large monsters, bobbing among the houses in the heart of town.
"It can't be!" he gasped. "Those look like golems..." Grik had heard stories about great stone monsters that wandered the ancient sands of Dissetore, but he thought they were only myths. "Xing!" he cried, hearing the sound of the flying snake overhead. "Where is Ruen? Find him, tell him that the legends say water is their weakness. I will remain here."

Kaden dodged the rock monsters fists as he waited for an opening. Finally, he was able to stab the rock monster at the base of its neck, but it didn't do much. It just irritated it more. Oh junk.. He thought as he watched the large fist come hurtling towards him and knocking him off. He got up quickly and retreated back towards Folami. Once she was in earshot, he called to her, "hey elf! Got any ideas?"

Folami watched as the rock monster knocked the man off of its back and then the man running towards her. "I'm thinking, I'm thinking!"

"Think faster!" Kaden shouted as the rock monster chased after him.

"There was some legend about these things, but I don't remember it!" Folami shouted back. "Dang.. If only I payed attention in history class.." She mumbled to herself as she loaded her bow and began shooting the monster, making it chase after her.

"Are you serious?! Dude!" Kaden exclaimed as he threw a rock at the monster, making it chase after him once again.

"I think its weakness had something to do with mud? Or was it salt.. Wait, no. That's a giant snail." Folami went through lists in her head, but came up with nothing useful.

IC: "Yeesss! Yes, yes, yes! Thank you!" Archie grinned. "Let's go!" He dragged Skywise by the hand towards the gate that was facing the mountains. "We have to hurry if we are going to help! Time is of the essence!"

OOC: Where they are, they shouldn't be able to hear the monsters very well, or they don't care. XP
