Narnia: The New Adventures

All right time to start!
--Aslan and Flower--
Flower crept out of her burrow to see Aslan behind her.
"Lord Aslan! You startled me!" Flower said.
"I have a person I want you to meet. I think the two of you will become good friends."
Flower sat thoughtfully. "Not to sound rude, Lord Aslan, but I hope you don't expect this person to live with me in my burrow. The person won't fit."
Aslan laughed. "No. I just expect you to be her friend."
--Carrie--
Carrie was running away from home. She was tired of being mistreated and unloved. Perhaps where she was going, there would be people who cared about her. She entered a forest, and a fog crept in around her. She suddenly became apprehensive.
OOC: Sheenar, this is your cue for Mariposa to meet Carrie. The rest of you cannot see Carrie yet, so just pop in normally.

trin was creeping through the forest, he had orders to kill a diplomat he knew he could do it. he sat waiting by a tree, it was a palm tree because that's where the diplomat lives on the beach. suddenly a cocunut fell he did not know where it came from but it was too late to move. it hit him right in the head he was unconcious. he awoke an hour later and said " where am i, who am i, what am i doing here " suddenly trin rang through his head he turned and ran backwards.

ot: i hope you don't mind but i'm introducing flower to trin

bot:he suddenly tripped he saw what he tripped over it was a meercat. ( flower is a meercat right ) he turned around and looked at it. then he saw a lion he started inching backwards, he hit a tall rock he jumped because it scared him. " please don't eat me it was an accident. i was trying to find my way home. i'm lost and don't remember who i am just please don't eat me " by this time he was staring at the lion in feetle position

[Sheenar]

Mariposa was on her way to visit her mother and father, carrying a basket of bread she made herself.
"I hope Mom and Dad like the bread. It's the first time I've tried to bake something myself. I wonder if I added enough flour..."
Thick fog started rolling in as she walked through the forest.
"Gee, it sure is getting foggy...I can barely see an inch in front of my face."

Mariposa, squinting through the fog, starts growing wary.
"Really, I can't see a thing...I hope I don't get lost or run into anyth..."

Mariposa bumps into something. She hears someone fall down. She startles and takes a few steps back. Curious as to who she ran into, she approaches slowly.
"I'm very sorry. I hope you are not harmed. The fog is so thick...I am having trouble seeing where I'm going. Here, let me help you up."
She then sees a young girl through the fog. Mariposa takes her by the hand and helps her to her feet.
"You are a daughter of Eve, right? I have heard many stories about your kind. I have seen boys and girls before, but have never met one personally. Please, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mariposa. I live here in the forest. You must be lost. I was just on my way to visit my parents. You must come with me --you look cold. My parents will give you a nice, warm meal and a seat by the fire. Let's go --we must be careful because of the fog --on the way, please tell me about yourself. After dinner --and after you warm up a bit -- we will help you find your way back home."

OOC: This is fun! Ok, your turn Rocklobster.

--Carrie--
"My name is...Carrie Durran." Carrie said nervously. "What exactly are you? I've never seen anything like you before." She was quite surprised at the invite. Could this be someone who could see past her looks and naiviete?
OOC: it's your turn, Sheenar!
--Flower and Aslan--
"I will not eat you, white tiger." Aslan assuaged.
Flower eyed Trin suspiciously. She didn't know if it was instinctive fear or not, but something told her to be wary of this stranger. "You have nothing to fear from us." she said. "My name is Flower. What's yours?"

[Sheenar]

Mariposa was a little taken aback by Carrie's question.

"Well, I'm a faun. We're quite numerous in this forest --I thought you would have seen a faun before...playing a flute and dancing...oh well. Anyway, I'm glad to be of service, Carrie. Let me know if you need anything, anything at all."

The two trod on through the woods and the heavy fog began to lift.

"Ah, the fog is finally going away. Now we can better see the way. Don't worry, we'll be at my parent's house in a few moments. They will be so glad to meet you!"

OOC: I will bring out her parents in a while, Rock. I've got to go clean and eat...so I may not be able to get back on until this evening. If you would like to go ahead, feel free. You are more than welcome to be her parents as well (that sounds weird the way I said it). :D

OOC: no, you can do that. I have a funny joke I've been dying to use.
"I thought fauns were baby deers." Carrie said. "And no I'm not from around here, wherever here is. I'm from Kansas."

" i.i.i. don't know but i think it's trin " he said getting up on all fours again he was running so hard dirt flew up so much his appearance was now brown. he quickly gave himself a bath revealing his white fur and black stripes, " mr. lion do you know who i am ? "

Aslan eyed Trin quizzically, not sure what the tiger was doing.
"You're a white tiger." Aslan said. "Why is that a question?"
Flower was also unsure. She was always cautious of carnivores.
Carnivores...oy. I'm never sure what to think of them. she thought.

OOC: I changed my main characters name.

IC: Kathier sat at the base of an old willow tree as he made enchanting sounds with his ocarina. He loved music so much, he always had to be playing it. His tribe did not understand though. Weak they called it. Kathier strongly disagreed though. He thought music was an art, a way of expressing ones inner being and it took great skill to play it. Not just anyone could pick up an instrument and start playing a masterpeice. It took discipline and lots of patience. That's why he left. He knew their way of thinking could not be changed. He stopped playing his ocarina for a monent. He heard movement near him, someone was there. A dense fog had made its way to the part of the woods he was at so he couldn't see anything around him. "Who's there?" He called out. He heard more movement. Footsteps maybe? He stood up, wide eyed, trying to peer through the fog. "Please tell me, is someone drawing near?" He paused, then added. "A woodland rabbit perhaps? Or.. Maybe a ferocious creature.." He held his black and brown striped cat tail close, thinking maybe it would give him some comfort.

OOC: Someone have there character go to Kathier. (Tried to give someone an opening)

"Oh, my!" Flower said, as she saw the blood. "What happened to you?"
--Carrie--
Carrie stopped walking when she heard the ocarina music. She turned to see a half-human, half-cat standing next to a willow tree and looking quite fearful.
"Who are you? Or rather, what are you?" she asked.

Aslan placed a paw on Trin's head and healed the wound.
"Perhaps you should start from the beginning. Tell us how you got this wound."

" i just woke up on the nearby beach and ran because i was scared then i tripped over her the only thing i can remember is the word trin " trin said a little fast

Kathier turned to the direction of the voice. He couldn't see the creature that was talking very well because of the thick fog, but it seemed to be of no threat to him. "Well uh.." He combed his fingers through his somewhat long light brown hair as he thought of correct words to say. "I am apart of the eastern Tallawhi Tribe. Or rather.. I use to be." He laughed nervously and started messing with his tail again as he inched his way closer to the new creature. "Uhm.. Just call me Kathier." He half smiled. He got close enough to see her better. He also saw a Faun near her. "And what exactly are you? I've never seen a creature like you before." He studied her, trying to imagine what she could be. "Perhaps you are a Dryad with odd clothing?"

--Carrie--
"I'm not a dryad. I'm a human. I guess you're not from here, either, are you. By the way, I never caught your name."

[Lil_Ninja]

Kathier examined her. "Human?.." He tried to remember what it meant, but he came up with nothing. "From these woods? No. I am from an eastern land. And like I said before, you can call me Kathier." He told her. "What are you called?"

"My name's Carrie Durran. And I'm not from around here either. I'm from Kansas. A town called Topeka, to be precise." Carrie said. "There's not much to it. I hate it, actually."
--Flower--
"Well, you're not the only visitor we have. Aslan and I are going to see another one. Want to come with us?"
Aslan appeared apprehensive. "I'm afraid Narnia has become quite popular today, friend Flower. We have another visitor. Climb on my back, we'll get there much faster that way."
Flower fearlessly got up on Aslan's back. What did she have to fear from the Being that actually created her?

[Lil_Ninja]

"I see. Then we have something in common. Disliking the place from which we came." Kathier put the chain connected to his ocarina around his neck as he walked up to her and bowed slightly, his way of greeting. "Well, Carrie Durran, Human from the far away town of Toopekah in the plain land of Kainzees, it is my honor to make your acquaintance." He gave her a charming crooked smile.

LOL, Lil Ninja, that reminds me of when Lucy first met Mr. Tumnus!

"So what's it like where you're from?" Carrie asked.
--Aslan--
"Very well, Trin, you may accompany me. However, because you are new to Narnia, I must inform you of my law--you are not to eat any creature in Narnia. If you do, you cease to be a Talking Beast. Am I understood?"

" yes but i'm not new to narnia i lived here my whole life and how about animals that can't talk may i eat those if not i can stick to veggies " trin said smiling as best as a tiger can

"No. NO animals period." Aslan said.
Flower smiled. "Don't worry, veggies aren't all that bad."

IC: Kathier frowned a bit at the thought of his old tribe. "It is a very harsh and unplesent land.. One would not pick that place to live on their own free will. Everyone is always fighting or training to kill.. That is why I spent my time playing my ocarina away from the tribe. I had no desire to do battle and harm my fellows." He told her. He sighed and released his tail. "So.. What is your homeland like?" He asked, his tone perking up a little.

OOC: I'm waiting on Sheenar to respond. If she doesn't by tonight, then I'll have Aslan's group meet Carrie instead and go with a plan b.
--Carrie--
"It's a nice enough land as far as nature is concerned. But the reason I hate it is because I'm not loved there. My parents hate me because I look like I do. My classmates at school always make fun of me because they think I'm stupid. Perhaps I am." she sobbed a little.

[Sheenar]

OOC: Sorry, I was "kidnapped" by my aunt and cousin and whisked away to spend a few days with them.

I read the new posts, but now I'm confused as to where the story is going. So now Aslan and Flower have met Carrie? But I thought she was traveling with Mariposa to her parents' house. I'm really lost. Can anyone help?

Sorry about stalling everything. I was really not expecting to be told to pack for a few days and leave --it's not really anything I can help. I hadn't seen my aunt and cousin since Christmas.

So, can anyone explain what's going on? I'll write my next part as soon as I can get everything sorted out and figure out what's happening. :)

OOC: Flower and Aslan just met Trin who just lost his memory (played by narniafan#1) and they are on their way to Carrie now I believe.

Meanwhile, my character Kathier was just found by Carrie thanks to his awesome ocarina playing and they are just talking.

"Oh, sorry Mariposa, forgot all about you there. Kathier, this is Mariposa. She's a faun." said Carrie.

[Lil_Ninja]

Kathier furrowed his brow, his gaze dropping to the ground. "Oh.. I see.." He smiled a little as he looked back up at her. "Well... For what it's worth, I do not think you are stupid. And.." He paused, trying to think of what to say next. "I do not think you should think you are stupid just because of your classmates. My tribe always made fun of me, saying I was weak because I played music but does that mean I really am? No. Just look," He picked up a large rock. "does this look weak to you?" He chuckled a little as he dropped the rock. When Carrie introduced the faun, he turned to her and bowed, greeting her. "Yes, I see that. Very nice to meet you, ma'am." He smiled charmingly at her.

[Sheenar]

"Very nice to meet you as well, Kathier. My name is Mariposa. Carrie and I were on our way to visit my parents for dinner. I would love for you to join us as well if you can. My parents are very kind and hospitable. I'm sure you'd be welcomed at their home."
Adjusting her basket of bread, Mariposa pointed to a large oak at the top of the hill ahead.
"My parent's house is underneath that oak tree right there. We should be there in 10 minutes or so. It's a lovely little place. Full of so many memories."

Mariposa, leading the way, quickened her pace. The sunlight was filtering through the canopy of the forest as they continued on. They soon saw the hill and the oak tree --there was a door and windows hewn out of the rock under the tree.
Mariposa alighted on the doorstop and rung an ornate bell hanging near the door.
"Mom and Dad are going to be so happy to have visitors. We don't often have strangers come to this part of the forest."

Carrie looked around. The house looked inviting enough. "You have a nice house, Mariposa." she said.

--Aslan--
Aslan and the others arrived in the forest. They saw Carrie and company enter MAriposa's house.

[Lil_Ninja]

Kathier nodded at Mariposa. "That is very kind of you. I would love to come." He smiled. "The house looks very lovely." He told her as he followed them to the house.

They were greeted by Mariposa's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tumnus.
"Why Mariposa, you didn't tell me you were bringing company with you." said her mother. "Please, make yourself at home. Tell me your names."
Carrie went first. "Carrie Durran."
OOC: Lil Ninja, why not introduce your villain?

[Lil_Ninja]

Kathier smiled at the parents. "Kathier. Nice to meet you." He said. He looked around the house. "You have a very lovely home. Very cozey." He said as he walked over to a chair next to the fireplace. "May I sit?" He asked, motioning to the chair.

OOC: Hope you don't mind me saying they have a fireplace.

Krishna growled as he watched through a magic mirror on the wall the new arrivals enter Narnia. "Blasted! This can't be!" He huffed as he paced back and forward in his lair. "First Aslan being on the move, now new arrivals?! What next? All the goblins in the forest getting wiped out?!" He fumed. He stopped when he heard his black bearded vulture overhead. He held his pasty arm out for it. "Zephyr, come." He demanded. The black and tan vulture landed on his arm. "What news have you brought me? And I warn you, it better be good." He warned.

"Master, the goblins in the woods-"

"Dont you dare say they are getting killed." Krishna growled.

"No sir, there are more than ever! We can continue with the plan afterall!" Zephyr chirped happily.

"Exellent!" Krishna smiled, revealing his sharp yellow teeth as he petted Zephyr's black head.

trin saw carrie " what was that!!! " trin screamed " is that what were gonna meet " he said excited

--Aslan--
"Yes." Aslan said to Trin. "She is going to help us fight Krishna. But first, we'll have to win her trust."
Flower patted Aslan on his back. "That sounds like an easy task."
Aslan laughed. "Your optimism is encouraging."
--The Tumnuses--
"Yes, by all means." said Mrs. Tumnus. "I've never seen anyone like you before. Where are you from?"
Mr. Tumnus said to Carrie, "So what do you think of Narnia so far."
"Well, it sure seems nicer than my home that's for sure. Is there any way I can stay here?"
"That's not for me to decide." said Mr. Tumnus. "We'd have to ask Aslan about that."
OOC: Kathier should ask about Aslan.

[Lil_Ninja]

Kathier nodded in thanks as he sat down on the comfortable chair. "I am from an eastern land." He told her. He shifted his gaze to Mr.Tumnus, raising an eyebrow. "What's an Aslan?"

--The Tumnuses--
"Aslan's the Great Lion." Mr. Tumnus explained.
"Is he tame?" Carrie asked, not liking the idea of meeting with a lion.
"Course he isn't tame. But He's a Good Lion." Mrs. Tumnus said. "You don't need to worry about Him. If anything, there's someone else you should worry about: Krishna."
"Who's that?" Carrie asked.
"An evil man. He has a whole army of goblins at his disposal. As if he wasn't dangerous enough about them." Mrs. Tumnus shuddered at the thought of the goblins.

[Lil_Ninja]

Kathier smiled. "It sounds exiting. I would like to meet this Aslan." He looked at the Tumnuses. "Where can he be found?"

Krishna had a broad smile on his face, exposing all of his jagged yellow teeth. "Tell me, my beloved pet, what races have sided with our cause so far?" He asked the vulture that was perched on his arm as he stroked its black and tan speckled wings.

Zephyr thought for a moment. "Ah, lets see.. Black bearded dwarfs, goblins, bats, vultures, snakes, ogres.. Practically all of the late Queen Jadis' followers! We will be unstoppable!" The vulture exclaimed, raising its wings into the air.

"Ah, very good. All is going according to plan then." He chuckled evilly.

OOC: Have some of Krishna's underlings attack Aslan's group, Lil Ninja.
--Tumnuses--
"Who knows?" Mrs. Tumnus shrugged. "He keeps to His own ways. We just have to respect Him. You don't find Him. He finds you. That's the best way to explain it."
Carrie scratched her head. She wasn't sure what to think. She also didn't like the sound of goblins being around. "Hey, Kathier, would you be able to protect me if we ran into trouble?" she asked.

[Lil_Ninja]

OOC: Okie dokie boss!

IC: "Oh, I understand." Kathier nodded to the Tumnuses. "He is a wild lion after all.." He always wanted to meet a ferocious wild animal, and this Aslan seemed like the perfect one. He turned his gaze to Carrie and nodded. "Yeah. I think so. This ocarina," He held the round ocarina that was on a chain around his neck up so she could see. "can work on almost anything." He smiled.

OOC: Ooohh, I forgot to put about Krishna >_<! I'll do it in next post.

OOC: except God! Since that's who Aslan is, after all!
Mrs. Tumnus shook her head. "You don't need to worry about Aslan. He is the whole reason Narnia even exists. And he's a good Lion. It's Krishna you should worry about."
OOC: I'm taking over as Mariposa.
Mariposa felt an inward tugging, as if something was calling her to a bigger purpose. She said to her mother, "Mother, is it all right if I accompany them in their search? I believe Aslan is calling me to befriend these strangers."
"If you really feel that is your purpose, then who am I to stop you?" her mother asked.
"Would you mind having me along?" Mariposa asked Kathier. "You will need someone more familiar with Narnia after all."

[Lil_Ninja]

"Well, it's fine with me. It'd be bad if we got lost." Kathier laughed. "But uh, where are we going anyway?" He asked.

Krishna walked over to the mirror that was currently displaying Aslan walking with Trin and Flower. "Oh Aslan, Aslan. You try to protect these," He gagged at the creatures with the loin. "things.. But all you do is hurt them. Like you will soon see." He evilly laughed. "Watch the minions and report back to me when it's over!" He sent the vulture flying. "And remember, don't be seen!" He called after it.

MEANWHILE

Goblins and wolves lurked in the woods just ahead of Aslan and his group. "Let's get them now! We've waited long enough!" One wolf impatiently said in a hushed tone. "No! We don't go until we see the sign!" A goblin quietly growled back. Just then, a vulture flew over head and landed in a dark tree. "There's the sign. Let's go!" A wolf barked and lunged forward out of the dark trees that had concealed him. He landed in front of Aslan. "Your journey ends here!" A goblin yelled as he raised his mallet and all of the other goblins and wolves stepped out of the woods and surrounded the great lion. There was at least 20 in all. "You have no where to run, mighty lion." A wolf mocked. "Your journey ends here!" Another repeated. "By bringing more of yours into Narnia, you have caused the deaths of your companions!" The largest of the goblins announced with a tone dripping with malice. Its dry lips stretched into a large cruel smile, showing all of its grotesque black teeth.

trin immediatly jumped onto the goblin and bit the back of his neck trin then jumped on his head and clawed his eyes thin bit his nose the goblin fell to the ground almost dead he knew he couldn't take all them out so he jumped on a wolf's neck claws out caught him and bit his nedck cutting his trach in his neck he fell to the ground dead he made a deep loud growl though they had him surronded

Aslan roared. That was all that needed to be done.
OOC: this is like when Aslan roared and scared the White Witch, Lil Ninja. So have your goblins run off with their tails between their legs.
--The Tumnuses--
"Did you hear that?" Mrs. Tumnus asked. "It sounded like a lion's roar."
"Think we should check it out? It might be Aslan." Mariposa said.
"Well, these people need to see Him anyway." Mr. Tumnus said.
"I'll come too." Carrie said, gulping. She wasn't sure which was worse--goblins or lions.

[Lil_Ninja]

OOC: Sorry for not posting >_<

IC: Kathier nodded. "That did sound like a lion! How fascinating!" He said excitedly. "Yes, let's go check it out!" He eagerly went to the door and opened it.

When the mighty lion roared, all of the goblins and wolves were tripping over eachother to get away, screaming and growling as they tried to escape into the shadows. The head goblin yelled as he made his escape "You haven't seen the last of us!"

Zephyr quickly flew away, staying in the shadows, trying to avoid beeing seen. In no time he was back in Krishna's layer. "Master!" He called as he swooped down, landing on his deformed wodden perch. "The lion-the goblins and wolves-they.. They-"

Krishna cut in. "Spit it out!"

"They failed! The lions roar scared them away! They hardly even got to draw their weapons!"

"WHAT?!" Krishna seethed with anger, knocking over a table near him that held a couple books. "Those worthless pawns! They will pay for their futileness!" He growled as he walked over to the mirror that was still showing Aslan. "You have won this battle, I will give you that, but it will not be the last, dear Aslan." He narrowed his eyes. "You will see soon enough what we can really do."

Carrie followed Kathier concernedly. They soon found themselves face to face with Aslan.
"Hello, Daughter of Eve. And a greeting to you as well, Felinis (OOC: I made up that name for Kathier's race. Is it okay.) I know the fear in your hearts. I mean you no harm. You have no reason to fear me. You can also put away your ocarina. It will not work on me anyway." Aslan greeted them kindly.

Carrie shuddered as Trin sniffed her.
"Please don't eat me, Mr. Tiger." she said.

" i'm a vegetarian now don't worry " trin said walking to a tre and climbing it and eating a apple " hey what do you know this stuff is actually good " trin said between mouthfulls

OOC: Yeah, that's fine.

IC: Kathier's eyes grew wide at the sight of the mighty lion. "Y-y.. You.. Are so.. Cool!" Kathier said with a wide grin. "Oh yeah," he put his ocarina back around his neck. "forgot about this. Hah." He looked around awkwardly, as he fiddled with his tail. "Sorry.. It's just.. I've always wanted to meet a lion!" He said as he bowed, his way of greeting. "It's very nice to meet you! I am known as Kathier. I assume you are the mighty Aslan?" He asked, still gawking at Aslan, amazed he was right in front of him.

OOC: Hey rock, can you say Aslan saw Zephyr flying away so now he knows the attack was from Krishna? Not that he doesn't alreaadddyy...

OOC: He knows, believe me. You can't get anything past Him!:thumb:
IC:
Aslan laughed. "We've had so many jokes here in Narnia, I have to admit even I have lost count. And I can tell the both of you that while you are here, you will find what you seek. Carrie, you will find true friendship and love. In fact, I believe you already have." At that moment, he made a special call. Mariposa came out of the house, as if in a daze. (this is sort of like when Aslan called Helen from our world in The Magician's Nephew)
"What do you wish, Lord Aslan?" she asked when she was released from her trance.
"Do you wish to be this Daughter of Eve's friend?" Aslan asked.
"Yes. I have come to see how special she is." Mariposa replied.
"And as for you, Felinis, I know why you have come as well. You have come because you want a place where there is no fighting. I must tell you no such place exists while evil exists. However, if you decide to serve me, I can give you a fight with a purpose, which is much better than what your tribe gave you. So, will you serve me?"

[Lil_Ninja]

Kathier thought for a moment. "I- uh.. I guess.." He nodded. "But who are we fighting against?" He asked. "Is it that 'Krishna' guy?"

[rocklobster]

Aslan nodded. "It will also be your responsibility to protect this Daughter of Eve. Are you up to that?"
He then turned to Carrie and asked "I was wondering if you'd like to remain here in Narnia. I have a way to make that work. If you are interested, follow me."

They soon came upon a small pond.
"Undress yourself and bathe in the water." Commanded Aslan. "I will tell you when you can come out."
Carrie obeyed. When she waded into the pond, she found that her life in Kansas was becoming blurry, as if she was forgetting it.
OOC: Have Kathier sense that there is some strange magic going on, Lil Ninja.

Kathier turned around to give Carrie some privacy. "I feel a strange magic amidst this place.." He looked at Aslan. "What is it?"

"Your instincts serve you well, Kathier." said Aslan. "The magic in this water makes you forget your past. But we must be careful. If she stays in long enough, she will even forget her own name."
Flower shuddered. "Is that really necessary?" she asked.
"Yes. We must sever her connection to her world. It's not necessary for you, Kathier. You did not come here by magic."
He called to Carrie. "You may come out now."
OOC: Let's have Kathier test the magic by quizzing Carrie.

No, I'm not really interested in a story about angels. I'm more into the fantasy genre with mythical creatures. I'm sad that Narnia died...I was really enjoying reading it and coming up with things.
