Just kiddin... Moderators make sure everyone is following the rules and generally help out with things. Administrators run the website.

However the titles "Administrator" and "Moderator" may be changed to something very corny soon... watch this space. :lol:

It's a joke over at the Guild of Redeemed Gamers. It usually only makes sense to members of that group, but since so many of them post over here, we just kinda carried our joke over, right MM? LOL

That's right; it's basically related to the "Post your pic" thread in the General section in which members can post scanned photos of themselves if they so wish. One of our members came up with the acronym P.I.E. ("Pictures of Inkhana for Everyone") to try to convince her to post a picture of herself, which she's not prepared to do. And somehow it got carried over to the Guild as well. Understanding and supporting her decision, since I have no desire to post my picture either, I came up with A.P.P.L.E.P.I.E. in her defense. (I hope she didn't mind me trying to be a gentleman... *blush* )

Uh... anyway, to get this thread back on topic...

Ummm... if you don't mind me posting in here, though it has been a while, how does one become a mod? I guess first of all you'd have to be maturly old enough, be willing to use your time to help the "joinees" of CAA and such, but what makes a person become a mod???

There is only one condition that causes the creation of new moderators: administrative decision. We determine such only when it seems that our current staff is not large enough to handle the entire site. At that point, the moderators are selected from an unwritten list of members that the moderators and administrators have personally found to be spiritually mature and balanced people willing to invest time in CAA.
